Mighty Mint Gallon (128 oz) Rodent Repellent Spray for Vehicle Engines and Interiors - Cars, Trucks, RVs, & Boats

This has been great at keeping rodents away from my car. They used to spend time on my engine block on cold nights, but since I have been using this I have seen no trace of them. It is very easy to use and smells nice so you won't need any air freshener in the car.

This stuff works as advertised. We have a lot of chipmunks, red squirrels and mice in our area and had attacks on 3 different vehicles of ours. One of them got into my husband's car and chewed right through one of the main wire harnesses right at the connector, so he started the car and several functions didn't work. That would have been VERY expensive to fix had he not been able to obtain the special tools and had the knowhow to solice in new wiring himself. That being said, since I've been spraying our cars that sit outside with this stuff, we haven't had a single attack. I spray everything under the hood that looks soft every few weeks and it seems to have made all the difference.

Seems to keep the rodents at bay, if you spray it a couple of times a week, under and around vehicles and along house entry ways. I have to say though the sprayer is awful. Mine broke after a few uses. Got more on my hands than around my car. I ended up wasting a lot of product because of the handle issues. Would I order again. Yes. I think I may have to pour from the gallon container into a smaller spray bottle and apply it that way. Hate that I wasted money on it. Maybe better luck next purchase.

We have a truck and SUV and mice get into the engine bays and chew the fire shield on the hood and the foam engine block cover. We tried various traps, but they kept coming back. We spray this liberally on the under side of the hood, all around the engine bay and in the truck, when you open the front door, there is a little space that leads to insulation and up into the engine bay, so we spray that too. We do this once or twice a week, I usually remember to do it when I have to do my weekly dump runs as I leave the bottle next to our recycle bin as a reminder. Haven't had any more damage since using this, as long as we are using consistently once a week. Strong scent, but smells good. Tip, if your car smells inside, check your cabin air filter, it may be coated in rodent fur and pee. All-in-all, works as intended and very happy with the product. Been using for almost two years and found that buying the big spray gallon was the most cost effective, after we tested with the smaller bottle to make sure it worked.

The product works - you have to be consistent- so a large size is necessary.However, the sprayer hose is useless - from the start, it never worked. And getting the cap off to pour it into a smaller spray bottle was a challenge. Tools were needed. And if you do pour into a smaller spray bottle, be sure to place a container under the pour as it will spill out. I would return it if I couldn't get the cap off. This shouldn't be this difficult - it is hard enough to have rodents in your engine.

I've been using this since 2020 when squirrels chewed up the engine and battery protector clothes that's attached to the inside top of my hood and around my battery. I have a 2018 Tucson. I found out that was the last year they use soy in their products. People keep complaining about the nozzle. Just put the product in a spray bottle. During the spring and summer I spray around my tire wells and my engine. I do this 3 days a week since 2020. I cannot afford another major repair bill like I had in 2020. This stuff works.

Unfortunately, we had a bit of a rat problem and they started eating the wiring in my car's engine. We began using this spray on the tires and inside the engine of all of the cars. After my car ended up in the shop to fix the wiring, we made sure to spray the engine each night. About a week later, we found out the rats returned to my engine and continued chewing the wiring even with the nightly spray. It was nice while it lasted because this product has a great mint smell compared to some other awful-smelling rodent repellents.

Update: When the seller heard my bottle leaked they immediately reached out to me and asked if they could send me another gallon. I agreed and should have it in a couple of days. Great customer support. Also I will not store it in my trunk to be on the safe side. Very honest and concerned seller. Will definitely purchase this again to keep squirrels, mice or chipmunks from chewing through the wires under the hood.First the hose IS NOT 3 inches long. You pull it out of the sprayer and it is a lot longer. My reason for 1 star is after spraying my engine compartment I put the gallon bottle in the cargo net in the trunk. Well it tipped over and leaked 90% of the contents into the trunk. Now I have less than 8 ounces. I have to roll the windows down because the minty smell is extreme and makes your eyes water. I would give more stars but the cap leaks if it falls over. Luckily I have a trunk liner and didn’t get any on the carpet. Other containers like washer fluid have tipped over and no leaks.
