Bioengineered Nutrition Research Group Power Crunch Protein Energy Bar (Chocolate Mint, 1.4oz, 12 Count)

This was a first time purchase. Wanted to try it as reviews were good. Mint flavour tasted refreshing and is almost like the usual wafer chocolate. It doesn't replace a meal, but it does help when you're on the go and need a good snack. Although it has little sugar, it still tastes good. May consider another purchase after this batch finishes. It is pricey but I guess if it's good for you then why not.

I disliked the order because of the price compared to Wal-Mart. I just received my order today and 12 bars costed me $19.99 which is $1.66 per bar. I went down to Wal-Mart today and bought 5 bars for $5.98 which is $1.19 per bar. This made the decision for me to check your prices before I buy from Amazon. I thought you would beat any price out there but found out other wise. I will buy our bars from Wal-Mart from now on.

I started eating low carb about half a year ago, and these bars are 1 out of 2 brands of protein bars I've found to be acceptable for my diet. Most protein bars will have 30g+ of carbs, I believe the most any Power Crunch bar flavor has is about 16 (I include the amount of sugar to the total carb count). I am NOT attempting to go Keto, but I do try to keep my carbs under 100g/day, preferably around the 50g range and these bars definitely help me throughout my day.Like almost every other reviewer has stated, you can barely tell these things are protein bars. They honestly taste great, I've tried almost every flavor and find all of them quite tasty. If you were to give an unwrapped bar to someone, I'm sure they wouldn't even know that it is a protein bar.I would definitely recommend these to anyone in the market for protein bars.

JUST got these & almost through with my first bar :) Here's my take so far: like most say here, these remind me of Kit Kat bars in texture, and Thin Mint Girl Scout cookies in taste. I left out a star only because these are not as rich or sweet as I thought they'd be (a little more bland than I imagined), but that's not a bad thing necessarily. They also do stick to the teeth a little bit as you would expect a bar with chocolate coating to do. But that's not nearly as bad as many sticky protein bars on the market. If you have concerns about bars that are too hard or sticky to chew for your jaw, I would say these are light enough that you'd be okay, as long as you realize that you will get some of this sticking to your teeth so might want to brush/floss after having one. Overall It's an enjoyable bar and a good balance of cookie, candy & protein. And how can you go wrong when you need chocolate?

This is my fav protein bar, despite not having a ton of fiber, only 1 gram. The taste, texture, whey protein mix, sweetness, has all been perfected. No artificial coloring that I am aware of, we get enough of those elsewhere. They are a legitimate wafer bar. Not the typical fiber chewy ones.I love all flavors of this bar, they sweet taste is not fake and they are quick and easy to eat. However, they are NOT filling so you may be tempted to eat another, but in that case just mix some protein powder and you're all filled up.They are best used for a night snack or dessert. And the quality whey protein is superb. It's just like a shake except add an additional 9g of fat, 4 sugar, 7 carbs. I am 10% body fat and these fit my diet nicely, 2 a day or so keeps me going between meals and after.Best flavor, probably the peanut ones, but it is good to mix up your variety as to not get bored. None I have had are gross or funny tasting. All taste real.Buy them under $20 and they are a good deal. Hunt around.
