can this be used with pex pipe and sharkBite fittings?

Well, the Pex can be crimped to the fitting. And you can add shark bite to Pex. A shark bite will NOT fit directly on this fitting.

Is this for type A Pex?

Yes, this is for type A, B, or C pex line , just crimp it on. The manifold is great quality, and looks and works great.

Are the 1/2 inch outlets crimp type for pex B

The outlets are 1/2" crimp type. Not sure about the difference of PEX A vs PEX B. I used Sharkbite PEX tubing and crimps and the manifold worked perfectly to individually valve a shower, sink, toilet and laundry tub. One manifold for cold and one for hot. I'll never sweat another pipe.
