BG001XS - Complete Coverage (Mini - X-Small - No Cut Out for License Plate)

I recently purchased the bumper cover because I saw another auto with it and literally stopped the driver and asked about it.I have been looking for something like this for a very long time. I had been using the Bumper Guard, which only protected the center of the bumper, leaving the sides exposed to careless drivers who don't care that they damaged your vehicle.I tried the bumper cover that was made of rubberized foam but on my bumper looked ugly and didn't form fit.The Luv-Tap bumper cover, not only fits around the bumper but also looks good. Installation was not complicated, followed the instructions to the T. I was able to install it in under 15 minutes.Came across one issue where the straps that go inside the trunk, in the beginning I installed them to the mat but the straps were in the way of placing things in the trunk. I ended up using the enclosed stick-on Velcro pieces and reattaching the straps in the spare tire wheel well. I cleaned the area with a vinegar solution, positioned the straps and then placed the adhesive tape. With the straps attached in the wheel well, it looks neater and gives me back my trunk.Of course you will be a little worried that someone will try and steal it. I leave it on when parked in the complex parking lot. I feel that it can be stolen even though the company says it has an anti-theft cable running through the straps of the center portion and if they took the opposite ends it wouldn't do the thief any go, but I would still be left replacing it. Hopefully this never happens.Overall I am impressed (that's really hard to do) and really like the cover, would recommend it to anyone looking for bumper protection.Remember it only protects from bumps and scrapes not a rear end accident. If the vehicle behind you runs into you, you will have damage.UPDATE 06/02/17Was having a serious problem with the velcro no longer holding the side panels to the center panel. Communication with Luv-Tap was exceptional. They replace the entire cover, no further issues to note.And even with this minor hiccup, it's still a great product.

I've been using this product since September 2017; I use it when parking on the street in NYC. Covers my entire bumper of a 2017 BMW X1, it's adjustable with little magnetic pins so that it cannot be taken apart. I use the bungee cord on both the left and right sides; it takes all of 15 seconds to put it on and take it off after initially adjusting it to you car, and two straps go inside the trunk and the trunk seals it so that it cannot be stolen. To set it up, it literally only took a few minutes. It fits snuggly around the rear bumper and it looks great. I'm a huge fan! Would definitely purchase again! Best of all, you can just take off the bungees and place it in the trunk, or (surprisingly!) it rolls up and fits easily back into the drawstring bag. I really thought putting it away would be the worst part of it, but it's no issue at all. High quality, great purchase!

Wow Really Excellent Product!!I wasn't sure from the pictures what this guard was made of or exactly how it worked. I took the risk and ordered it and am super pleased. FYI its really really lightweight ( I couldn't believe how little the box weighed) but seems very strong and well made. its made from neoprene like a wetsuit for scuba diving and some form of rigid foam and covered in a black fabric. I am super impressed and shocked to see that it is stitched not molded or stamped - Its really intricate looking but the function and tight fit on my car exceeded my expectations - really awesome. its really simple, it arrived put together, rolled up in a really nice neoprene backpack with bungee cords and suction cups(you use one or the other - but they give you both). All the parts can be separated and repositioned as they all attach to each other by Velcro. Really Cool - and it looks really really good on my car.

The Luv-Tap Bumper Protector is seen in large cities, especially NYC quite frequently. It has 3 pieces. The left, right, and center. The center piece is held in place by velcroing it to the trunk liner. Then, the left side is velcroed to the center piece, and also held in place with bugee cords (behind the wheel base). It helped protect my bumper from what would have been a much worse fender - bender, and the day to day dings of parallel parking. One problem was that in heavy winds, the left side of the protector bungee ties came unlatched, and the left side blew off. This made the right side useless, because while it was velcroed to the center piece, and held in place by bungee cords also, it relies on tension to be properly secured in place. (The suction cups are useless, and you should either use suction or bungee). That left me with just the center piece, but it's still some protection.The color fades in UV Light exposure (outside), and is now a dark grey. I got another Luv - Tap, and for the 2nd time around, paid just under $100 on Amazon.
