This is a nice reading and task light. Adjustable intensity and hue. It has a fairly heavy base, so it's stable, essentially infinitely adjustable height between the elevation of the main shaft and the main plus arm. Controls require more than a slight touch, so it's not going to be accidentally changed. Comes in multiple sections, but requires no tools to assemble, and in less than 5 minutes. Be aware that it is 100% plastic (perhaps high density polypropylene), so it's not going to fit everyone's idea of stylish. The light itself is brighter and more adjustable than I had imagined. We purchased it as a gift for my mother-in-law, and it wasn't what she wanted (we didn't find out that she had any strong opinions or wish or expectation until we asked why she didn't like it), so we have to return it. If we had a need for another reading light, we'd readily put it to use.

We've tried two and they both work for a period and then will not shut off completely. Not worried about the minimal electricity just the fact that they stay on unless unplugged.

Terrific task light! I keep it behind my sofa to light up my reading material, but I'd buy another to use as a project task light.

The lamp is cheaply made and the adjustment range is limited. The light quality is good but the lamp is good looking enough to use on a regular basis. I hide it in a closet and bring out only when I need it.

Works as stated. Same as Kedsum 12 W model. Perfect for my use as a living room reading and task light.
