Strongly recommend
I bought these and the leading brand of insole, to do a bit of compare and contrast. These won by a mile.Pros: easy to trim, heavy duty support and cushioning in the heel, same for ball of foot, memory foam supports arch tooCons: a little hard to get used to at first because of the arch supportHonestly, I'm surprised by how much I like these. For the first time in weeks, I walked around free of lower back and ball of foot pain. I cannot comment on longevity, as I have only had them a few days, but comfort wise they are excellent. I'll definitely be buying them again.Update: My first pair lasted about 8 months. I'm a teacher and on my feet a lot every day so I felt that was a good amount of time. I went through a replacement pair and then was sad to learn they no longer sell my size (small). My mom has really awful foot problems and they make her size, so I got her some and she reallylikes them. I do hope they start selling size small again because these are the best orthotics I've ever worn.

Orthotics
As I mentioned before, I don't know much about these things. I walk hundreds of miles and, when I came back from walking from Padua to Rome in October, the ball of my foot was hurting walking here, locally. My daughter, a nurse, suggested orhotics and, even though they haven't got rid of all the pain, they certainly seem to have alleviated the problem.

Finally found ones that work.
For the longest time I've had trouble with keeping my weight off of my heels. None of the cheap insoles I found at cvs/walgreens really helped to ease the pain on them, as I could still end up with huge discomfort and pain in them. I attest this to my bad choice in footwear growing up, but nevertheless I found these insoles in a desperate search on Amazon. Boy oh boy what I surprise I had when I tried them on. At first you will feel a bit of discomfort in your arch as it basically reshapes the way your foot sits in your shoes. Once you get used to it, it takes the weight off the heels, bringing comfort and a more natural posture in long hours as I no longer need to shift uncomfortably to get weight off of my feet. Awesome product, awesome price, and even better service. Would recommend no questions asked.

My feet like these
Years of the hard concrete floors of retail have caught up to me. Finding shoes that I can wear longer than an hour is hard, so I decided the time to try insoles had come. These fit right into my size 7 sneakers and off we went to get new tires on one of our vehicles.I was on my feet for about 2 hours (walked around etc) while we waited for it and I didn't feel as though I had crippled myself with excessive burning or cramps in my feet.Morton's neuroma didn't flare, so thankful that I gave these a try =).

As good as the inserts you might get from your podiatrist
Someone else said these are as good as the inserts you might get from your podiatrist - I have prescription orthotics and I can attest to this. I've got a pair of these in my running shoes and I also bought my wife a pair for her runners. Prior to using these, I had to use my prescription orthotics in my runners. These are actually MORE effective and comfortable than my prescription inserts when running, and they fit better too. If you are showing signs of plantar fasciitis or even if you already have prescription orthotics, I recommend you give these a try. For $15/pair you can hardly lose.

Great Product at Half the Price of Most Insoles
I have high arches, past problems with Planter's Fasciitis, sensitive feet, a steel plate holding my heel together, and must be very careful as to what type of shoes to wear. Most shoes have no arch support and these insoles felt great right out of the package. I purchased multiple pairs and use them every day in different shoes. I do a lot of walking on concrete at work. I love these and would recommend them to anyone suffering from barking dogs.

Insole for Morton's Neuroma
I have a serious case of Morton's neuroma and can not walk barefooted. A recent flare up caused me to look for better insoles before another trip to the doctor. Because the manufacturer specifically mentioned Morton's neuroma in their description of this insole and because others had rated it highly, I decided to give them a try. And they worked. At the time of my purchase I could not walk even with my shoes on and was almost certain that I had some serious trouble ahead. Enter these insoles and a few days later the swelling had receded and I was walking without issue. I was amazed. I waited for a couple of weeks to be sure that what seemed to good to be true was, in fact, true. And it was. I bought three more sets of these inserts for other shoes and to keep one as a spare. With regard to the break in period, I did find the arches uncomfortable for a few days but the pain relief in the ball of my foot was so great that I just flat didn't care. I used them non stop right from the start. This had too be one of the best purchases I have ever made.

Maximum Comfort
The x-small fits into my women's size 7 Ugg boots perfectly and provides a lot of/ firm arch support. I've actually never needed arch support before, but after a long weekend of wearing Uggs every day, my arch started to feel tight. Problem solved. I'm going to buy a second pair for my other Ugg boots.
