Lovely, but should be called pomegranate and date syrup! π
This sweet pomegranate syrup tastes lovely but very sweet. If you aren't a fan of very sweet stuff, then this isn't for you.It says on the front of the bottle that it is sweetened with dates. In the ingredients, it says that it is 50% pomegranate and 50% dates. I think at this point, it should just be called 'pomegranate and date syrup' π«£. I can honestly taste the pomegranate and dates equally in it. I think the name is very misleading by calling it 'pomegranate syrup' as it isn't, in my opinion. If someone was just looking for the flavour of pomegranate, they might be disappointed. They might be better off with something like pomegranate molasses. I love pomegranates and dates so I don't mind, but I do think it's misleading. The syrup is a nice consistency. A little goes a long way so you do not need to use much to get a lot of flavour. A bottle should last you a good while. You can use it on a range of foods for flavour and even in drinks. It comes with the lid and also a pointed applicator in case you want to drizzle it finely over your food. It's a good idea but it means having to store the applicator somewhere. It would be better if the pointed applicator had a lid and that was the only one provided on the bottle. Like a screw on pointed lid with a cover.Overall, I do really like this syrup. I just think that the name, description and lid/applicator need looking at. π

Good product but bad packaging
The seal was broken and the bottle dripped a bit. I've seen from other reviews that people have had this issue but decided to try my luck, as it's one of the few of these products that clearly state they're made of 100% pomegranate juice. It is tasty though.
