Pump works manually, auto float switch does not work.

Easy to hook up. 15 minute swap out. Pumps lots of water if needed. What more can you ask for??

It did not work at first. It would stick in the open position and run until the battery died. I couldn’t figure out what was going wrong I just thought it was a sticky float switch. It wasn’t. The instructions say install it level and I really mean it. I had installed it at a slight angle 7 1/2° degrees.It would go off if I tapped it otherwise it would run until the battery died. I did check the angle and it was not completely level as I said before 7 1/2°. So I loosen the screws and shimmed it up To almost level. I got it to 2°. I was delighted when it shut itself off. I’ve been tested it four more times. It now seems to be working fine. It pumps well And operates nicely from a very small battery on my sailboat. We’ll see if it lasts and if so I’ll change my rating to five stars. For now because it’s so finicky it only gets four. In fairness for an item that’s less than 30 bucks it’s actually pretty good.
