This stuff is magical, couple sprays and a quick brush and my dogs tangles are gone and her hairs very soft, and very clean feeling and looking. No leftover residue or bad smells.

This stuff works miracles! Along with a long bristle brush, this saved my poodle from needing shaved! She was overdue for a cut but had an eye injury so she couldn’t get groomed so my groomer recommended this. I sprayed this directly on the mats and worked it through with my fingers and the brush and got them all out! Then I used it after a bath and it was soooo much easier and quicker to dry and stayed so soft! It smells pleasant and not overwhelming. Recommend this!

This Chris Christensen Ice on Ice Detangler and Finishing Dog Spray, Groom Like a Professional DOES what it says!!!!!No hype, no gimmicks, it detangles, softens and brightens hair/ fur.Easy, very easy to apply just spray on clean wet or dry hair/ fur and work through with a combination or brush.I used it on wet hair, then dried it and it looks and feels amazing. No scent either. It made my pup's hair very easy to comb through after his bath. Makes drying time a little longer but this is not an issue for me.There is one VERY minor con:The detangler doesn't come out in a fine mist like the bottle suggests. It squirts out in one spot. NOT a big issue, I just worked it through with my hand.I also, didn't care for how it looks when I applied it to his dry hair. It keeps the hair looking wet and it is harder to work through dry hair because it squirts out.

Good product, but not my top choice. Pricey for a second choice detangler for dogs. The spray bottle works well. I use on two Standard Poodles and a Bichon Frisée, all have long froofy hair. I don’t see that this adds shine at all, but it does make hair easier to brush on dry or damp hair. It does help minimize hair breakage and slows getting tangles between brushing. The higher price is for the brand name, not because it’s a superior product (IMHO).

Best detangler! I have two doodles and have struggled to find a solid detangler. It really does a great job. There isn't a super strong smell, but I don't mind that as long as it works.The pump that came with it was too big for the bottle, which was odd. I trimmed it to the length of the bottle and it was fine after that.Otherwise, a solid buy!

Does not leave a finished look on my dog. He has shiny curls with the other brand I use. As far as repelling dirt and other unwanted debris, I don’t know. Does help with tangles

This is a great detangler for double coated breeds! I use this every time I brush my Great Pyrenees. As a GP, he has very sensitive skin and this doesn't bother him at all. He does not like scented products but this has a such a faint scent that he doesn't mind. This is a very clean product. It does not leave his coat feeling oily or heavy. Spray lightly for regular brushing. It can also be used to remove mats. Just saturate the mat, and beginning at the bottom, comb through with a metal comb.

I have been in search of a multi-function spray to use when brushing our standard poodle. She seems to tangle very easily, even though she is brushed a couple times each week. I’ve tried a few others. Usually the scents are just too much. Way overpowering for me so I can’t imagine how the dog’s sensitive nose feels. This one works really well. The brush and comb definitely glide through easier, the coat is softer and there is no discernible scent. While I’ve found other products that work on tangles, I like having an effective option that doesn’t make her smell like I’ve sprayed her with cologne.
