Awesome RGB mechanical keyboard
This is my first mechanical keyboard, so I can't make a good comparison on the switches. However, from my research it looks as if the switches used are not mx cherry switches, but a Chinese clone.I was looking for a mech keyboard that had dedicated media's keys / volume and was rgb. The options were some what limited based on my criteria. This one stood out because it had all the features I wanted and the price was very appealing. The thing I was worried about most was the blank topped key caps, but it wasn't until this keyboard they I realised how much I don't actually lol at my keyboard. Also the labels that are on there show nicely with the angle they are at when you're sitting. The quality of this keyboard is much more then I was expecting. The top of the keyboard is a brushed aluminum, that just adds a little extra in looks. Once you have the software installed, there are 6 preset lighting options. They are:WaveBreatheFlowerReactiveSpectrumFast and furiousThere is a 7th that allows you to customize the layout of colors on individual keys. Only thing I wish custom would include is the lighting effects, so you could set it to breathe, or spectrum based on selected colorsThe volume control also acts as a brightness adjustment for the rgb lightning which adds a nice touch. In addition to that, there is a button that will cycle through some of lighting presets.Getting the software is a little tricky. I found a link to it on a review site. You and to make sure you get the English version, otherwise you'll be making changes based on educated guesses unless you read Chinese. In order to install the software I had to delete the Chinese characters in the name. After that everything worked alright. The software allows for 3 profiles for different macros and lighting.Without the software you can still cycle through the few presets with the button I the keyboard, but there are a couple that it doesn't cycle through. The keyboard also comes with a key puller, which is a nice addition for those who'd like to change caps.Overall, I'm very happy with the purchase and would buy it again.

Quality is fairly nice, its hefty with the metal case
Quality is fairly nice, its hefty with the metal case, but a little sharp on the edges if you ask me. Lights up and types great, however the software did not run on any of my windows 10 computers =( so no customizing for me which is a major drawback when having full rgb capability. Still its a strong nicely built mechanical keyboard and it lights up so cant hate it too much!

A keyboard is a keyboard, right? Ummmmm, no....
Ok, I have to admit I'm mesmerized by the light play. From a parent's viewpoint, seems very sturdy and excellent finishes. Kiddo is into gaming and about went through the roof when he saw it. I read him some of the features and his jaw literally dropped.... was so funny! He adores it and all I hear are constant clicky noises which he thinks are great. He's very happy with it so I am as well.

Not saying Chinese products aren't great, and not like 100 dollars is a lot ...
this is actually an Ajazz firstblood keyboard, not "Mengk" - the description says 100% authentic cherry blue switches, when in fact the actual product uses knock offs. Very deceptive. https://www.amazon.com/Firstblood-Mechanical-Keyboard-Switches-AK60/dp/B01L9CGCWW/ref=sr_1_14?ie=UTF8&qid=1486073861&sr=8-14&keywords=firstblood+keyboardthis is a link to the actual product, look at the description if you want a real idea of what you're paying for. I would NEVER pay 100+ dollars for a knock off clone keyboard. Not saying Chinese products aren't great, and not like 100 dollars is a lot for a good mech, but you can certainly get something like a ducky or a rosewill for next to the same price and rest assured it will have authentic Cherry MX switches.
