Easy replacement of an existing Door closure
After 30 years, my existing Norton 1600 door closure failed. I was informed if I wanted some one to come and install it, the minimum charge would be $400 for the install and the cost of the product. I looked at it and knew I know how to use a torque wrench and screw drivers and proceeded to installs it myself. Easy to adjust the sweep and closure.. Product works great.

Looks like a used or reconditioned piece
Ordered from Amazon, came in a Norton box. The main piece has flecks of the bronze paint off or peeling and there is a big gouge in one area. I bought as new, but this sure doesn't look new. But I need it and have someone coming to install it, so guess next time I'll go to Menards or Home Depot.

Very nice. My installer was not able to adjust it and it make a little knock sort of when it opens and closes, but so much better than my old one.

It's okay I guess
Two annoying things. 1. It's always hard to see where to insert the allen wrench for adjusting, as there are several places where it seems maybe it goes but only one is the correct place. If they put a dab of white paint around it, maybe I wouldn't need a flashlight every time. 2. It's easy to lose the allen wrench or forget where it is. Why not have a place on the closer for it to stick, so it's always there? (If someone meddled with it, you could always bring it inside.) Adjustment is touchy. But maybe they're all like that? One always dreads having to readjust the door upon every change of season.
