I was a bit unsure as to whether this was a sensible purchase for commercial car photography but it really works for smooth shots. The traction is great and the rail very light for tripod work. My only gripe is that it doesn't come with a bespoke bag or case and so you are forced to carry it round in the cardboard packaging. But that's it, a minor moan.

The runners were so bad if you slide the carriage it made a grinding noise!

I think this is overpriced.Don't get me wrong it's well made and lightweight etc.But it makes a noise when it moves, so when i was doing videos i could hear it on the playback.I also think because of the price of it, it should come with a storage back but it doesn't.

The media could not be loaded.  This track comes with parts as per the photo on the listing. The slider can be controlled manually with the buttons on the body or via a remote control. It can go either direction side way and there are three speeds.The track comes with a L1 lock screw (long one) and a 1/4" - 3/8" mutual screw (short one), these screw sizes are compatible to pretty much all mounts of media products. However, no ball head adaptor or mount are included.The track comes with four height adjustable feet, so it can accommodate a slight slope or levelling on uneven ground.The slider can be used on level ground without the track. The slide comprises three wheels, two of which can be adjusted from 0 - 90 degrees which means you are able to make this slider round and round in a circle of different radii. This is particularly useful for filming products in 360 degrees.The motor whining sound, while it is running, is loud enough to be recorded on your footage, you will need to edit that out.At the slowest speed, the slider takes about 55secs from one end to another, bear that in mind if you are buying this for time lapse videos.The track and most of the slider's body are made of powder coated aluminum, whereas the screws are made of stainless steel. All build to last and light to carry around. No carrier bag included and the track is not retractable, so it is more designed for studio or home use rather than for travel.Overall, the track is sturdy, the slider works great and battery seems to last long enough for many purposes (claims to be 6 hours but I have not tested). At this price (£164), I would like to see a carrier bag included.

This camera slider is excellent - lightweight, very adjustable, remote control, smooth motion, variable speeds. It is not the easiest to set up but ok when you get used to it. The motor makes a noise when moving, which is caught on camera so needs editing out. A carry bag would be useful for transport.

due to the fold out nature of the carriage getting this to run in a straight line is very tricky and it keeps coming off the rail, making this far more time investment to set up than i thought it would be. a lot of the time its easier to just not use the rail.a bit disappointing. it does work but you really gotta commit to using it for something as getting it to run smoothly on the rail takes time to set up

I really like this camera slider. My partner is a dog trainer and we've found a great use for this slider is taking video of dogs walking, to determine strength of gait, evenness of footing, etc. Although we've only used it for this purpose, I can well imagine it would be a great piece of kit for the would-be film-maker. That said, the sound of the running motor is loud enough to be captured on camera, so you'd need to know more than I do about editing to get rid of the noise.That said, it's a great piece of kit. Well made, sturdy but lightweight. I don't have enough experience of the equipment to know whether it's well priced but it strikes me as a very useful piece for film-makers and media enthusiasts.

This camera slider is so cool. I got the mobile phone clip as an add-on to allow me and my daughter to use our phones no it. What I and her love about it – is that this dolly car can be taken off the rails and use on a surface as well. We adjusted the angle of the wheels which is possible, and the dolly car moves around an item giving you a full 360-degree view. Rather then the item rotating, the camera moves around the item. The dolly moves left and right with 3 speeds. The speeds are not massively different, but enough to notice it when zoomed in on an object. The remote helps so you do not bump the setup to press the buttons to operate it. Charging is easy with the UBS cable supplied and it does not take long to charge either. The rails can also be adjusted with the four screen feet to make sure you are level and if you want to create a bit of an incline or decline. The one thing that would have been cool is a small spirit level built in to make sure it is 100% level. This can also be fitted with an LED light – so, you could control light moving side to side or back and forth on the rails. Or on the dolly around an object while filming from above for example. We are both really impressed with this purchase.

Thanksto Neweer for selling usable items that the common person can afford and use in theirstudio or while out! Too many items to list but all are wonderful, highly recommend!

Ich habe mir den Slider vor etwa 3 Wochen gekauft. Ich nutze noch einen ca. 120 cm Slider welcher ebenfalls elektronisch angetrieben wird, mir aber zu sperrig ist und mir aufgrund der Kabelverlegung für Kurzeinsätze einfach zu aufwendig für die Installation geworden ist.Der Aufbau des Sliders ist relativ einfach. Der Motor wird mit 2 Schrauben am Slider befestigt und der Kabelzug wird in den Motor eingehangen.Der hier angebotene Slider zeichnet sich nach meinem Dafürhalten durch eine sehr gute Haptik und benutzerfreundlichen Einstellmöglichkeiten aus. Der Slider läuft wunschgemäß ruhig und lässt sogar eine Montage auf dem Stativ problemlos zu.Selbst bei sehr zeitaufwändigen Aufnahmen wie Zeitraffer/ Timelapse oder Langzeitbelichtung, bei denen absolut ruhige sowie gleichmäßige Bewegungen vorausgesetzt sind, liefert er absolut souveräne Ergebnisse.An der Bodenplatte befinden sich mehrere Bohrlöcher für 1/4 Zoll und 3/8 Zoll. Hierauf lassen sich praktisch alle Halterungen für Video, DSL Kameras und Smartphones mounten. Ganz lautlos ist er nicht, was den Einsatz eines Mikrofons etwas erschwert, sofern es nah am Slider verbaut ist. Montieren lässt er sich bei Bedarf wahlweise auf einem oder zwei Stativen.Für den Preis bin ich absolut Zufrieden!

Bin damit nicht recht zu frieden man muss immer drücken damit es hin und her fährt. und geht meines erachten viel zu schnell.
