As an adult, I've been taking diphenhydramine for many years, to help me sleep and for occasional allergies. The last, brand new, bottle of little pink pills gave me THE WORST NIGHTMARES of my life! I took 50 mg for only two nights in a row and I'll never forget the terrifying dreams I had. Poison! I slammed that bottle straight into the trash! I ordered this liquid and I love how it tastes and how it works! It's pure with no poisonous ingredients (unlike like the colored pills). Yes, it's more expensive, but my health and my sleep are worth paying extra, especially for a much better quality product! I've been drinking 15 ml a night, which is about 37 mg. The product is excellent. While I can't make recommendations since I am not a Vet, I use this product on my dog when he has allergy issues. I used to use Children's Benedryl but this has no dyes & is sweetened with Agave. I prefer Genexa for any medications over the brands that have dyes & other plastics. I use it too & it works.

Works fast for my 2-year-old grandson, he has allergies & eczema. Makes him sleepy sometimes so the dosage must be regulated.
