Psh Publishing Darling Venom A Best Friend's Brother Romance Book

Darling Venom is such an emotional read and deals with some heavy subjects, which might be triggering for some people, so be aware of those before you start reading. I'll not get too much into the plot because it should be discovered by each reader, but it is so beautifully written and the love story between Tatum and Charlotte is so well portraited, slow burning until exploded. They've gone through loss, learned to work through grief and accept their feelings, they have found happiness and learned to forgive themselves, even though the price payed was too high. The plot is interesting, maybe didn't choose a good describing word, but it hooked me, I was there, feeling along with Tate and Charlie. I cried with them and laughed with them. I love Tate and Charlie, especially Charlie's personality, she has spark and is persistent, she is restless. It was a beautiful love story, raw, heartbreaking, but beautiful. Recommend it from the bottom of my heart, but as I said read the trigger warnings before you start it.

This book is one of my favourite books to re read. I loved the story line, the characters. I also love how the title is incorporated well and truely into the book. If you love best friends brother, age gap and an angsty romance. You will enjoy this. Please check TW prior to reading

Tears you apart and puts you back together….slowly. SO.BLOODY.GOOD!!! Omfg….what an absolutely epic read. This breaks you down into tiny pieces from the start, puts you back together again, just about, then tears you right back down again. If you can’t love yourself how can you ever expect to allow yourself to love another. This applied to both Kellan and Tate. Hate was their love but one girl was what they both needed to stop and take a good look. Charlie! She was never going to give up…..until she didn’t have any choice. Until she had to save herself My head hurts, my heart hurts, in bad ways then good. It’s such a mixture of emotions throughout. I’m not sure I’ve read anything quite like it. This is up there with my top 5 reads and think it’s there to stay. I’m not sure how you follow that!

This book made me sob, laugh, and feel hope all in one go. Grief is a struggle, and this story shows that in the best way possible, while also showing love and growth in the MMC and MFC.

No words would do this book justice. Darling Venom is a phenomenal read that captures everything, your thoughts, your heart and soul. It’s a book that resonates with you, a story, filled with hopes, dreams, love and grief. I lost sleep whilst reading this book, I couldn’t put it down. Darling Venom, with the subjects talked about in this book, has the power to break you but it is so beautifully done that you don’t mind a few cracks. If you haven’t read this yet, then you need to. It’s a cathartic read, one that will have you ugly crying and leaves you heartbroken but as you read on, the heartbreak is still there, just not as intense… it’s a perfect illustration of grief itself. Truly Spectacular!
