Be careful these bags are Aluminum, not Mylar!!!!

I am gave 3 stars on durability and sturdiness not because of a flaw in the ability for the product to do its job. I was expecting 7.8 mils thick on the both sides instead got 7.8 mils total when counting both sides barely making it less than 4 mils on each side. I own 7.8 mils bags brought from a manufacturer and these are much slimmer in the walls than the bags brought from manufacturer. However, they got my needs size wise and it is hard to find a bag in exactly this size. Which did save me time from cutting and resealing a bigger sized bag.

These bags are absolutely not 8 ml thick as stated in the description. I have genuine Harvest Right one gallon bags that are 7 mil thick and they feel twice as thick as these.

I AM VERY HAPPY WITH THESE BAGS. THEY SEEM TO BE ABOUT 4 MIL THICK. THEY DO SEEM LIKE THEY ARE PRETTY GOOD QUALITY. ABSOLUTELY PERFECT FOR MY NEEDS. I'M NOT USING THEM FOR FOOD STORAGE THOUGH. I LIKE THE FACT THAT THEY HAVE THE PRE CUT NOTCHES SO YOU CAN EASILY TEAR THEM OPEN. I RECOMMEND THESE BAGS. I WISH THEY WERE A LITTLE CHEAPER. .22 CENTS EACH IS A BIT PRICEY.

I've purchased these many, many, many times. All my long term food storage has been done with these pouches. Super sturdy, thick, easy to seal and they don't puncture. They are a little smaller but you can usually fit around 1lb. of beans in each packet. Great if you like to make meal prep buckets with a wide variety of foods
