Bellissimo- great color - wonderful grill pan
I bought it for the color but also to replace another pan I’ve been using for years which I wanted to give my daughter. The pan is very well made, my only complaint it it’s hard to clean with the ridges. Maybe I’m using it incorrectly.

Flawless Victory!
Took a chance on the used like new option on this. Description said original package has obvious damage. 🧐 it was $100 cheaper than the new one so I purchased it. Flawless the skillet is! Love it already and cooking with it was pure joy.

Great pan
We love using this pan and it makes some pretty grill marks on steaks or pork chops!

Excellent pan but very expensive
The pan gets really hot and holds the heat. It is great for quickly searing Tuna. I have not yet used it to cook other foods. At full retail price the pan is too expensive. After all, it’s only enameled cast iron, not gold. I would not purchase it at full retail.I was lucky to get this pan for half price because it was returned to Amazon by the original buyer. I has a few small cosmetic scratches but doesn’t appear to have been previously used to cook anything.

Steaks came through great, not for much other use, not easy to clean, but tough.
Rub steak fat, cook, four minutes each side, steaks came out great, primary cooking, it's hefty, not your flipping kind, very tough, the slots are not easy to clean, I only cook one NY cut steaks, over 3/4 lbs, after flip, some cut mushrooms on the sides, soy or sauce, stirs the mushrooms near the end, done. You can do two NY steaks, one good size porterhouse, not cheap, but bought it on sale, I think. I use cheap take out chopsticks to clear the slots, so far so good.

It works on an electric stove
Read an article that this wouldn’t work with an electric stove after I bought this. Oops. Guess what? It does work! I created a salmon tail. I brushed it with grape seed oil and cooked it three minutes on each side. Then I put some pesto sauce on it and put in broiler for four minutes. Delicious. Also put some lightly peppered tomato slices with green onions on the grill. Quite good!

Pricey but excellent
We've owned a few Le Creuset products over the years and they never disappoint. You get what you pay for it. It is pricey, no doubt, but I feel that the quality of the product justifies the cost.

For the sake of your health, BE AWARE OF COUNTERFEITS!
Is it a nightmare to clean? Yes, as folks have reviewed. But that's not the major problem. I seared a pork tenderloin with it and put the whole thing in a 300 degree F. oven for five minutes. My wife was like, "Whoa! There's a nasty chemical smell with the tenderloin." She smelled the pan and, yes, it smelled like chemical death. I tried cleaning it with a plastic scrub brush and the brush turned black. Smelled the brush and, yep, there's that smell again. Horrible.I bought two of these, the round one and the larger square one. Oops. There goes $300 plus. I'll donate both at Goodwill tomorrow but, for obvious ethical reasons, I will include a warning and the warning tag around the handles: Dear customer. Enjoy these Le Creuset pans. But please know: the "enamel," or whatever it is these pans are covered with, will make your food taste like something that could kill a bird within breathing distance and will make you and your family ill.Never again, Le Creuset. Never again.UPDATE: I compared what I believe is a genuine Le Creuset (the round one on the right) with the fake (on the left). You can see that the real one has a more founded, softer look to the Le Creuset stamp on the back, as if finished with more layers of enamel—looks more like my mom's Le Creusets. The real Le Creuset has no smell and is relatively easy to clean. The fake smells like a chemical thought would kill a flock of birds flying over the factory. Awful. You instinctively turn your head away . I'm just lucky my wife has a better palate than I do. She was like, "Um, there's something very, very wrong with that pan." Then I smelled the pan. Then cleaned it with a blue Scotch Bright (the green version would scratch the heck out of enamel, of course). And I was like, "Oh my! That's unbelievably horrible." I thought for a moment of donating it to Goodwill, but then reconsidered. I don't want anyone to cook food for their kids in this thing.
