I have been using an iHottie clamping phone holder that attaches to the CD slot of my ‘06 Honda Accord. I really like this attachment type since I never use CDs anymore and it’s secure and puts the phone at a good spot.I wanted to switch to a MagSafe type holder for convenience but they aren’t that many options for CD slot phone holders. I thought for a while about this holder and finally pulled the trigger. I also like that it is just a holder for the original Apple MagSafe charger, which adds piece of mind since reviews show that 3rd party wireless chargers can overheat phones or charge very slowly. I also like wireless charging since it is slower which will help with the long term health of the phone battery.It was smaller than I was expecting but is well built. It also comes with the optional vent mount which I do not use. It attached easily in the CD slot and is tight with no wiggle.The Apple MagSafe charger snaps in tightly and doesn’t move. My iPhone 12 Pro with a MagSafe case snaps on easily and does not move while driving. Some of the roads around me are pretty rough, with worn out asphalt and potholes and haven’t had any movement of the phone and it has held on tight. I usually keep the charger unplugged unless I want to charge the phone. Then I just plug it in to the Anker charger in my lighter port. Do keep in my mind that in my experience, iPhone 12 and 13 have MagSafe built in but if you have a case, it also needs to be MagSafe. My wife’s iPhone 13 Pro with a non-MagSafe case will not attach securely enough to make me feel confident it will not fall off while driving.I highly recommend this combination if it’s specific use case is what you are looking for. The location of the CD slot in your car will obviously make a difference on whether this will work for you. It’s been exactly what I was looking for and is working great.

The price is right. I live on a steep, bumpy hill, and it holds great to my cd player slot. Took me a minute to figure out that you have to yank one part off another part to get it to work. If they can provide more instructions, that would be helpful. This does exactly what I needed, Hasnt fallen off once after a couple months

Been searching for a good phone holder mount that raises the phone higher so that my shifter doesn't hit it for a year or 2 and I've finally found this mount.

The USB end will not fit through the hole. Lightning probably works, USB-C doesn’t. Useless.
