Pen Pal Clip for Apple iPad and iPad Pro Pencil, White

This product is a simple solution to the problem of storing an Apple Pencil, especially if you are using it with Apple’s Smart Keyboard. It elegantly evades the issues I ran into with the other solutions:1. Sling-style holders: I found that these kept the Smart Keyboard from folding cleanly, with the iPad ending up being wobbly in the hand when in tablet mode with the keyboard attached.2. Lightning Port adaptors: The one I tried broke while in the port. I was able to get it out, but never again.PROS:1. The clip is plastic, so it does not scratch the Apple Pencil.2. The clip is light, and does not throw the balance of the pencil off.3. It has enough play to attach to the types of things that a standard pen can clip to. For example, it attaches perfectly to the Smart Keyboard. It does not attach to the iPad itself, however. It is not that type of clip. Think of it as a clip on a pen and not one on a clipboard.4. Since it just a clip, you can easily reposition it when the Smart Keyboard is opened and closed. This keeps out out of the way whether the keyboard is opened or closed.5. The clip keeps the Apple Pencil from/ rolling when placed on a table.6. Customer support is outstanding. I wrote early on a Sunday morning regarding a broken clip, and they replied on the same day. Very impressed.CONS:There are some issues that, however:1. The clip is a bit big. I have big hands, and generally have to push the clip back all the way and angle it just right to keep it from hitting my hand.2. It is a bit flimsy. The clip is not solid; rather, it is a plastic loop. So it is easy for it to snap/crack.VERDICT:The product is closer to a 4-4.5 star product on its own. But since the company is so good about honoring the warranty, I believe that a 5-star rating is warranted. No product is perfect, but this one solves an annoying problem via a classically simple method and does not introduce significant usability issues.

The Apple pencil is a great tool. But being very round, it has the tendency to roll around on a desk and sometimes off the desk. This clip stops the rolling around from happening and keeps he pencil in one place. It also makes the Apple Pencil feel like a regular pen because you can now attach it to your shirt pocket, inside jacket pocket, or your iPad case. This clip is not metal, so it won't scratch your Apple Pencil.

A simple solution to a major problem with the Apple Pencil, the lack of a integral clip.This is an excellent, if overpriced, solution to the problem.It is well-molded, fits very snugly on the pencil and the clip itself has enough strength and flexibility to fit on thick shirts.It never leaves my pencil and if I was unfortunate enough to lose it, I'd buy another.Jerry

The slick design of the Apple pen makes it vulnerable to losing it. I can’t believe that Apple didn’t include a clip. Anyway, this clip fits perfectly and keeps it secure in my shirt pocket. 5 stars to the folks who designed this clip. 3 1/2 stars to the Apple design team. All designers should be forced to use the products they design. The good designers won’t have problems. The others will immediately make changes.

Does what I wanted - allows me to put my Apple Pencil in my messenger bag along with my other writing implements. The only fault is that the Pencil itself is too long for the slot - this is not a fault of the clip, but rather of Apple. I have had to put in a larger pocket at an angle so it will fit. And forget about trying to put in a shirt pocket - it would look ridiculous sticking out so far. But the clip itself is fine.

Have been sporting the clip on my Apple Pencil and its working great! I wanted a clip so i can put my iPad and Apple pencil together without having to put them in my backpack in different locations.Only compliant i have about it is that its pretty thick. You can usually stick it to the side of the iPad but with the click, you can no longer do that. Perhaps added magnet on it would be nice... But thats just a dream for me. hehe.

My second-favorite Apple Pencil accessory, after the Cozy leash for the flash tab cover. In a way, this is better than a permanently-affixed clip, as it's replaceable if it ever gets broken (I've had a lot of clips break or get bent on ballpoint pens, which ruins an otherwise good pen).

I bought this specifically because my Apple Pencil kept falling out of my pocket when I sat down. It didn’t fit quite right on the pencil. The inside diameter of the clip was too small. But I used it anyway. It worked well for about 2 weeks the became weak and eventually cracked and the clip fell off.
