10Pcs 2 PIN LED Strip Light Connectors 10mm Wide Unwired Gapless Solderless Connectors Strip to Wire for Waterproof or Bare Board Single Colour, 5050-2835

I've always found connecting this kind of LED strip a fiddly job. These connectors (which I hadn't seen before) make it effortless.

I bought these for a hobby project after trying and failing to solder some led strip. As of writing I've used 5 of the connectors to splice some cheap 5v led strip to usb cables. Every one was trivially easy to use and made a good connection. No flicker if I wiggle them around and the clamping feels sturdy. I can't speak for their longevity, but since I've fixed the connectors in place and don't expect any stress on them, I doubt they'll fail. Note that the connectors are about 2cm long, not including however much lead in you have to your cable, so remember to account for that in your project (I didn't). There's quite a lot of extra vertical space when using non-waterproof strip. I took advantage of the strip's double sided tape to affix it to the inside of the connector and the result is quite firm. I imagine if it were held only by the pins, movement would eventually make the contact unreliable.

This can be a little tricky to get a reliable connection with, but is fully functional and adequate to the task of splitting an LED strip into parts. Using a craft knife to expose the wires and the included tool to reopen the connectors to reposition components as needed was the key for me.

Good but not a great connection which leads to the LEDS dimming abit, however easy to use.

In the past I have soldered wire to led tape. The use of the connectors made it much easier, just brilliant
