Good little charger plop on your phone and charge away

The usb society in my knackered old dog of an s10 is getting unreliable so I got this to real out its lifespan and it works, really well. It charges at normal speed of of a wall plug USB but registers as a fast charter when plugged into the propped samsung adapter. Works well through my thin rubber case. Can't complain at that.

As much as it is nicely designed it decides after 10 minutes of correct positioning of the phone and successful charging to stop charging and the LED flashes all night. The phone is correctly placed on the pad and this is evident when it charges. This is always short lived and even when it does charge and I go to sleep only to wake the following morning to a battery that stopped charging hours earlier. Going to be scrapped and look for another one... don't bother plus the lights are too similar in colour to see if the phone is fully charged or not.

This (and all these wireless chargers) are clever technology, but are a bit limited - the rubric suggests that it can deliver power to a phone through a fairly substantial case of up to 8mm, but our experience with a chunky charger, is that anything more than a 1.5mm rubber case will preclude charge being delivered, and even then you have to place the phone *exactly* in the right place. Have therefore given it to a friend who uses their phone with a very skinny case, as having to strip the case off my phone to charge, rather defeats the purpose of convenience.

I was having problems with lightening connector chargers as they often didn’t connect properly and I’d find my phone hadn’t charged overnight, I threw away so many chargers and was worried it might be an issue with my phone, then got this wireless charger and my life changed overnight! I can now relax knowing my phone is charging. Great value for money and a lovely neat bit of kit. Happy days!!
