LOVE LOVE these! These are surprisingly sturdy bags and hold a fair amount of tea leaves. I also grind and make my own "teas" from organic herbs and spices. I also plan to use these as spice bags for homemade soups or other dishes where you wish to infuse flavors but not leave whole pieces of sticks/leaves in your creation. If need be, they can even be reused more than once (if you're trying to conserve).For those customers who are having trouble with keeping the ingredients in the bag due to the location of the string closure, here's how I remedy that. I simply pull the string taute, holding the bag closed with one hand and then with the other hand, wrap the string tightly around "the neck" of the teabag several times. No need to tie it, because it always stays closed that way (even with a brief rapid boil)!Great buy and definitely ordering again! Happy customer! :-)

A perfect product for great cup of tea. Well made these bags are easy to fill with your choice of loose tea. The drawstring closure keeps the tea in the bag for multiple cups. The whole process of slowing down and filling your own teabag is very relaxing.

It says these are compostable on the website but the actual packaging says "biodegradable." These two are not the same. The bags are white (I ordered brown) and feel sort of like plastic. Moreover, the strings fall out of them.

These are great for loose tea. I wish the opening was a little bigger. It is sometimes hard to get the tea in the bag especially if fruit is involved.I will purchase again as these are the best ones I have tried.

Great for my homemade mint tea. No loose tea seeps out. The only improvement I could think of is a longer string

Great quality, perfect size bags, easy to tie off. I was using a mesh filter for my loose herbal tea blends before and I always ended up with my finely chopped herbs like feverfew and nettle floating in my tea cup. These have solved that problem for me.

Great way to turn loose tea into individual disposable tea bags. Just a bit time consuming! But better tasting than a metal teaball and less messy to clean up.

Love having these on hand. Great for making my own teas, and for blending herbs to season a broth, as well as a few other convenient uses. I make lots of gifts with them, so I keep plenty on hand.
