Planted ahead of suggestion
Reluctant (and apparently impatient gardener) I sew(sewed?) these bulbs the moment they arrived, in late June. Discarding the instructions in a flurry of excitement I pushed holes into the boarder with my finger willy nilly and plonked the bulbs down, in what I hoped was the right way up. Two weeks later I'm getting lots of shoots coming through.... I actually planted lots of bulbs but so far these are the strongest and I assume are the ones I'm reviewing based on the shape. If I can make them grow I assume anyone can. Water sporadically and with varying amounts. I've really no idea what I'm doing truth be told but I'm enjoying the process 😂
