Cute, comfortable, colorful, casual! This is a pretty skirt which is especially good for hot days in S. California. No slip required, no see-through. I wear a size 14 skirt or pants and this skirt fits me very well. It is about ankle length on me and I am 5'5" tall, weigh 122 lbs. I recommend it for its color and comfort. Wash it before wearing to get rid of any dye smells. Should be easy care after that. I'll probably wash it by hand and hang to dry, maybe with rubber bands to create the folds. It is tiered, but it is hard to see because of the many colors. I love it!

I bought this skirt for a beach trip, so that I would have something to cover my legs if I got very sunburned. I am 5'3" 180lb. The 1X fit me perfectly, and is a beautiful turquoise color. I love it. The first time I washed it, I followed the instructions to twist and bind the material so that it would have that signature "crinkle look". It took a long time to dry, but came out beautifully. The second time I washed it, I just hung it up on a hanger by the loops attached to the inside of the waist band. When it dried, it looked the same to me - very pretty - and dried in much less time.

While I like the skirt for the colors & the fit, it is not a particularly soft fabric, even after laundering twice. There is no lining sewed in either, but I have not found that to be a problem because the colors prevent any show through of underwear.

Edit update on the bottom...I wanted to love this skirt so badly. The color and designs on it are incredible, but they are only ink sitting on top of the fabric. It's stiff and conforms to my hips and legs instead of flowing. I am afraid to wash it in case it still doesn't flow, and I can't return it.EDITI have since washed this skirt and I really do love it. It turns out that it does flow, and I don't believe the ink will be fading. The fabric moves as if it was never stiff at all. The ink smell will fade after the first wash too. I kept the old review up in case someone else has questions about the texture as well.

I had high expectations for this skirt. Fit, styling, color — all are very pleasing. I laundered it first to remove the sizing, of course. As with any cotton skirt, the bottom 3” wrinkled and puckered, so I sprayed it with fabric relaxer and smoothed it out. I noticed after it had dried that the color of the treated area all around the bottom had lightened considerably. The skirt’s fabric is certainly NOT colorfast, so beware. I’m waitig to see what happens when it’s washed one more time. This is disappointing. I certainly expected better quality considering the price and the fact that it’s from an American merchant.

I’m so disappointed. I ordered this for a special occasion. It’s too big. I should have ordered the next size down. But I was going to be wearing it with an elastic belt anyway. The problem is rather than being cut in an a-line shape, loose and flaring from the waist, it is cut straight down more pencil skirt style. Barely any wider at the bottom than the top. It’s a rectangle, not a triangle. There is no flow at the bottom and the whole thing is stiff. It doesn’t move. It is not as shown in the ad.

This skirt was basically all I needed for a 2-week trip to Albania. It was lightweight and easily rolled up. I was just glad I had several older tops that matched, since I haven't seen anything new in stores that would have. It's so nice to wear 100% cotton. The only problem I had was tripping on the hem going up gangplanks--I'm 5'4"--so I had to lift it a bit.

Love the colors and patterns. Purchased it for a trip to Europe. When there, noticed my finger kept getting pulled in between threads when walking. Finally figured it out - the weft (left to right threads) of the fabric doesn't weave (top to bottom threads) with the warp threads, causing the warp threads to become disengaged. Can't cut them or the rest of the fabric will open up and fray. Return window closed by the time we returned stateside. Would like to have this resolved. Very unhappy and disappointed in the defective fabric.
