After a rough start due to inconsiderate FedX handling - they delivered a day early and blocked access to my front door - I am very happy with this AECOJOY 8' x 6' Metal Storage Shed. It was somewhat time-consuming to assemble, but the instructions are well written and the parts are marked making them easy to match up correctly. It does NOT come with a floor, but does include hardware for a floor so we built one with plywood and 2x2 runners to make it level and sturdy - about $70 for the materials. I painted using left-over Sherwin Williams Deck and Dock paint (color is mineral gray). Since putting it up, we've had several days of steady rain and interior has stayed dry. I'm pleased and recommend it! For size comparison, my fence is 6' - the shed is 8 x 6, interior floor measures about 7 x 5 - 3/4.

Nice inexpensive shed
I shopped around and read a lot of reviews before buying this shed (I got the 7ft x 7ft). It's a good value and I'm pretty happy with it. Reading the other reviews helped set my expectations and prepared me for how to successfully put it together. There are some challenges/negatives with this shed, but it's probably not going to be much different from any other shed of this type. This is definitely more advanced than an Ikea furniture build. The shed was delivered in two boxes on different days. The heaviest box was 80 lbs, and not too large but quite long about 7ft.The first thing I did was open the boxes up, make sure everything was there, read the instructions. Almost all the pieces come with infuriating plastic wrap that is hard to take off. I recommend taking the wrap off the large tapered pieces ahead of time, that took me about 2 hours. It is nearly impossible to avoid cutting your fingers on the sharp metal edges when taking the plastic off, be very careful. The straight pieces are not as difficult and we did those as we built the shed. There are also about a hundred screws that you have to put plastic washers on, so do that ahead of time.Even with the packaging and plastic there were some pieces bent, dented or scratched. Generally minor, most could be fixed by bending back by hand, scratched parts put on sides less visible. The metal is a very light gage and won't stand up to much abuse, as long as it's out of the way and you don't plan to run into it with things it will do the job.I built a 7x7 raised level wood floor out of treated wood since this area was sloping. Basically just a raised deck with plywood. A concrete pad or compacted decomposed granite would be good also. The manufacturer says to install on a perfectly level surface, which nothing is ever perfect. Do your best. Just make sure to come up with a plan to anchor it down from wind to your base, no anchors are provided with the kit.I built the shed in about 8 hours in one day with the help of my teenage daughter. That was with the pad already done, and pre-preparation mentioned above. For best results you will need:2 philips screwdrivers, with magnetic bitStep ladderDrill with 1/16" or 5/64" metal bit for screws that don't fit, plus other sizes as needed for anchors you provideRatchet wrench with 11/32" bitMeasuring tapeLevelMagnetic tray for holding screwsScrews and anchors for the baseThe first step is laying out the base rails, which don't have any anchor holes. The kit comes with some corner brackets each with one small anchor hole. That's not enough in my book so I drilled screw holes along the inside of the base rail about 18" on center. Put the base rails down on the pad where you want it (keeping in mind the roof has an overhang), measure the diagonals to be sure it is square, and put one screw per side to hold it in place. Also it's a good time to find the bottom door metal angles and check to make sure when the doors swing open they won't hit something. The instructions say to put the corner brackets on, but I recommend putting them on at the very end since they will bend the base rails out of alignment. For the rest of the build follow the instructions, have one person getting the parts ready taking plastic off, and one person screwing things together with the other person holding things where needed. The instructions say to put the roof supports together on the ground then lift it and put it on. If you do that, keep the fasteners loose until it is in place and well lined up. We built it in place on top and not on the ground, works either way.The roof panels were difficult to install. Probably the top frame was not square, even though we tried our best to adjust things it was a struggle to line up all the screw holes. There were several panels where I had to drill a new hole, which worked fine in the end.The doors were another challenge as they did not fit up well. Other people posted about this issue as well. Basically the doors and jambs don't have a way to adjust things. I spent another 2 hours the following day trying to fix it and got it marginally working. I tried a lot of things, including flipping the doors, bending the braces, adjusting hinges and screws. One of the doors is too low to shut without lifting it up over the base rail, and the doors bind together where they meet. I decided its good enough for infrequent use. It would take more serious surgery and taking more things apart to really get it right. If the the mfr reads this review, please add some slotted holes to the ends of the door braces, set the door jambs further apart, raise the door up above the base rail, and set the door handle in the vertical middle of the door so it can be flipped to the other side. Also you need to provide instructions for how to install the door handle. After it was put together I finished screwing the base rails down and installed the corner brackets with heavier screws at the corners. I ran a bead of exterior silicone around the base to keep water from running in. Added foam weather strip along the gap between the door and the jamb. Installed two battery LED motion lights on the ceiling beam.We had a pretty good multi-day rain storm since it was done and a little water came in around the base from rain driven up under the panels - but the shed is largely dry. I might add a bead of silicone around the interior base of the panels also. As long as you keep moisture sensitive stuff off the floor it should be fine.

Nice shed 12x12
I love the look. It was not that hard to assemble, only a few holes didn't line up but that was not that big of a deal. Good value for the money. Hopefully it withstands the brutal weather and snow.

Worst Product on Amazon--BUYER BEWARE!!!!
The item arrived bent but was easy to bend back because it is cheap metal. The directions are horrible. It took 3 people 4 hours to get the product bent back and put halfway together. Then the slight breeze sent the walls crashing down. I then gave up. I contacted the seller because the item was damaged when I first got it and isn't the sturdy-looking product they advertised in the picture. I was told I could do a return. I printed out the return receipt, repackaged the shed, and loaded the 98LB shed into my SUV. Then I looked at the shipping instructions. They wanted me to pay the shipping on this 98lb box of crap to get my money back. AVOID THIS SELLER !!!!!! Better off just going to Home Depot or Lowes and getting a small lawn mower shed. Again this is my worst experience with AMAZON sellers. This issue is still ongoing and I have yet to receive a refund.Update Nov 2023. After working with the seller and Amazon they say they will get me part of a refund if I ship the item back to them and provide postage. The package is too large for FEDEX or USPS so you have to ship UPS. The shipping cost to return the package is more than the cheap shed is worth. So you get screwed out of your money because it doesn't make sense to ship it back if you are paying $200+ for shipping just to get part of your $150 back for the shed. BUYER BEWARE OF THIS SELLER !!!!!

Awesome Storage
This was a perfect size and a great product. It's very durable and it supported a lot of heavy rain. I would definitely buy another one.

You get what you paid for.
Not bad for the price but like everyone else, assembly was weird. The instruction will tell you one thing and before you know it, you’re backwards on something. The screw choice was my biggest complaint. When assembling anything sheet metal that requires a drill, why they chose Phillips screws is beyond me. Hex head screws are about the same price and they are more effective. Metal is thin, so make sure you wear gloves, learned that the hard way. Holes don’t line up, so be prepared to fabricate something with self tapping screws or a drill bit so it will all sit flush. Over all a decent product for what you pay, just some minor details I think would make this a better deal.

Terrific
I was quite hesitant to buy because of it’s cheap price and some bad reviews. However, this was a great buy at a terrific price. Nothing scratched nor dented. Instructions were easy to follow and assembly was easy. Took about 3.5 hours. A lot of it can be done alone. Only somewhat tricky part was the door but still easy. The quality is top notch. You would pay over 500 for something like this at Lowe’s. I’d hands down buy this product again. And it looks great at my garden. I used 1x1 pavers from Walmart to put it on, it’s truly a 5x3 so 15 pavers did the trick.

Takes a long time to put up but worth it
Really happy with my new shed. Reasonably priced and looks inconspicuous in my garden. Lots of space for a lawn mower and tools. Big enough to stand up in. Took a long time to put up even with four people and the plastic wrap was tricky to get off some of the pieces. Seems sturdy and waterproof. Can be screwed to a wooden base for extra stability.

shed
I would never repurchase a shed like this, it is so flimsy , when it arrived the box had tire marks on, it had been run over , when my husband and dad assembled it they had to twist the metal back into shape so the screws nuts and bolts would fit, they have finally finished putting it together and the door won't shut, it was a pure waste of money, I sent feedback they have offered £30 of the price , which I accepted without talking to my husband. my hubby isn't happy at all this is meant to be a lockable shed and the door won't even close

Not very happy I've seen thicker metal on a bean can. Cut my hands edges very sharp.
