Simple to mount and install, app works well and syncs with Apple Homekit.
This CO alarm is easy to install - It comes with a mounting plate, wall anchors and two Phillips head screws. You can mark out the positioning for the two screws and the instructions advise using a 5mm drill bit. The alarm switches on once turned into position onto the wall mount and beeps and flashes the LEDs to indicate it's functioning. Downloading the Netatmo app is easy but you must create an account to install it.Syncs with Apple Homekit and shows in the security area within the Home app.Netatmo advises that your Alarm checks the status of its battery, sensor, and Wi-Fi connection, sending you a notification in case of any issues but no issues have been reported on our system.The alarm looks good and is discrete on the wall. Instructions provide clear guidance on how to position the alarm. Higher priced than entry-level monitors but the smart features and notifications on your phone add an extra level of confidence.

Brilliant and easy the only downside being the non replaceable battery which makes it quite expensive to throw away after ten years just for the smart functionality.

Do not buy.
Cannot maintain a connection with HomeKit for more than a few days before turning non responsive and requiring a hard reset. Most features / checks cannot be initiated without a HomeKit connection. Support from manufacturer is non existent.

Good product
Very easy to install, clear instructions for set up in the manual. Works really well through the app and stand alone. Looks neat on the wall too. A little on the pricey side but seems to be worth it

Do not buy.
I have over 150 HomeKit devices, including the Netatmo Smoke Alarm, and this CO alarm is the ONLY product that is unreliable and pretty much unusable. It will drop off of HomeKit and require a hard reset every single time your wireless router reboots. It clearly needs a firmware update and Netatmo have neglected it for years now. Don’t buy.

Works, but not a HomeKit device
Dont get me wrong, it works as a CO alarm and pairs with HomeKit. But the second anything is rebooted on your network, it stops connecting to home/homekit.Only way out is it disconnect/reset/pair. But just until next reboot…
