May Flash HDMI Type-C HDMI Adapter Hub Dock Cable for Switch, HDMI Converter Dock Cable for Switch

I just got this and I tried it with my Switch and it didn't work. My TV didn't revive any inputs and it literally didn't give any charging power to the Switch. I used an original OEM Nintendo branded HDMI cable and a Macbook pro usb-c charging cable to test this device. I even tested it on my LG G6 Android Smartphone and I got the same results as what my Switch had. This is a big problem with allot of these cheap pocket sized HDMI/Type-C adapters that are floating around on the internet where they can be sketchy at times. Cause allot of the sellers will clam that they'll work with the Nintendo Switch and other USB Type-C devices. The main problem is that since USB Type-C was introduced about 3-4 years ago not all of these devices will transfer video signal through the Type-C port the same way. This is why it's hard for you to find a good cheap Nintendo Switch Dock for under $50 at regular MSRP price. But overall I don't know if mine is defective or what but it's up to you to risk the $30 on this to find out it's not working.

personally think it is a must-have gadget for switch as i used to bring it out and play with my cousins. i tried a few other type C hdmi adapters before this, some without the charging port so you couldn't charge it while you play (it's good maybe if you want to set a time limit for your kids). I also have one adapter working great for my zenfone, but the type C adapter is too loose for the switch, which makes it disconnect from time to time.i think the biggest merits for this adapter is that u can charge while u r playing, and the type-c plug of this adapter is tight enough to keep the switch connected to USB devices while playing. credits to the maker becoz i guess they have been looking into the details in this regard.

Unfortunately this product never worked for me. I plugged it in and nothing happened. I tried many times and but it did not work unfortunately. It could be it was a defective unite. Due to everything that is going on with the world i did not find the time to contact customer support to see if there was a fix or return it so i can't comment on their customer service.

It works perfectly! Just advice that you will need the HDMI cable and power source besides the adapter. It is a great replacement of the docking or to be used as a second dock or for portable purposes.

Does not work for me at all! I bought this in 2019 and didn’t have chance to test it until it’s after the return period. Now it’s just another piece of e-waste for me.
