Absolutely great lil vacuum chamber.
Love the product. It's perfect for off gassing bho. Especially if you aren't aiming for shatter, and want a more fluffy crumble texture. Be careful with the amount of extract if you are off gassing extract. Because it will inflate very quickly. I already got the lid dirty, but that's not a real issue for me. The pump is much larger than I expected, and very strong. Clear and easy to read instructions too.

Low quality valves but functional.
Chincy but it does work.

Works great so far
Works well. Seals well on the supplied silicone gasket for vacuum, gage works great, valves are good. Hose fits nicely to my vacuum pump. Everything is as it's supposed to be. Nice.

This vacuum pump works great.
This pump sounds solid and is pretty quiet. Everything is easy to set up and when you flip the switch, the gauge will show you that it’s working. Connections are air tight and everything looks great. Definitely worth the money.

Fittings
This product comes with SAE fittings and good luck trying to get adapters to NPT. Now there is a 1/4 NPT on the product but it is glued and to remove it would compromise the vacuum intergrity of the other fittings. Overall a good product if you buy the whole package and pump. I recommend the manufacter creating a second hole out of the top and switch to NPT.

Larger vacuum chamber with transparent lid - great for pressure treating woods with Cactus Juice
I found a great method on YouTube for stabilizing poor quality punky but great-looking wood so it could be used to turn on my lathe rather than just throwing it all away. It involves using resin and a vacuum chamber to make sure it penetrates completely into the workpiece. I used Cactus Juice resin (which is heat cured after the vacuum process) and this Bacoeng 1.5 gallon vacuum chamber as the price was right and it’s been ideal for the job so far.Everything was well packaged and it includes some additional accessories. The unit is well made, and the stainless steel chamber itself is thicker than I was expecting and hasn’t had any issues with buckling or anything after many hours of holding a vacuum. The unit comes with a reinforced vacuum hose that’s about 5ft long with a ¼” connector, and there’s also an inline particulate filter (which I haven’t used, but I guess is nice to have!). This kit seems to have been designed specifically for working with liquids like resins and so on as it also comes with a silicone mat that goes on the bottom of the chamber so anything that does overspill won’t stick to the stainless steel vacuum chamber itself. There’s also some sealing tape and a wrench included, again nice touches that help get you set up if you’ve never had a vacuum chamber before, like me!Another reason I chose this particular model is because it has a large all-acrylic lid which means you can see exactly what’s happening when you start to pull a vacuum - this is important because you don’t want to pull too hard too quick and have the resin overflow the container you put it in when it starts its initial degassing. The fact that the lid sits on the top of the chamber and forms its own seal also gives you a really big opening and I find this is really easy when loading or unloading the chamber. The lid is really thick and I’ve had no problem with it holding a vacuum for 5 or 6 hours. The gauge is easy to read and seems to be a decent quality oil-filled one. One thing you need to watch for is to remove the small rubber plug on the top of the gauge body when you’re pulling a vacuum - there’s a big sticker on there to let you know, but it’s something I still have to check as it could be easy to forget and I understand the gauge can be damaged if you don’t remove the plug when you’re using it. The valves are a little stiff to operate, but that’s probably preferable than being too loose and it means you can set the valve to a given position and be confident it will hold there.Overall this is really easy to use and I’m very happy with the results. I’ve stabilized several batches of wood with resin using this chamber so far and it’s been perfect. Definitely recommended for anyone looking to put resins or similar under vacuum.

Not durable
Worked fine the first time. Blew aerosolized oil all over my shop and leaked it all over my work bench the second time. Would not recommend.
