The scale itself is a great deal, especially for the price but the power supply was dead on arrival. It was really frustrating, not only the inability to use it but not being able to see if it worked. I managed to splice a 9V battery into the power cable and the scale powered up perfectly. It tested spot-on with the proof mass, which was really nice to get with the unit. The windscreen and unit selection are nice. I like this scale but I’m going to have to buy a separate power supply and make a permanent splice into the cable. Clumsy for something new. Still, a pretty good deal overall since I’m handy with a soldering iron and heat-shrink tubing.

A big issue with this is you can't reset without turning off and turning on again. Plus, directions are horrible. Waste of money.

Have only had for two weeks. So far has been quick and accurate. Leveling feet work well. No problems so far!

Purchased this scale. Plugged it and it worked. Turned it off. Next day I turned it on but it didn’t work anymore even after several attempts. I sent it back.

The advertised RS232 interface does not send any data. There doesn't seem to be any menus or option buttons to toggle it on/off. The documentation is very sparse and does not address the RS232 except to say that there is no cable included. I tried to contact the manufacturer, but I have received no response.If you only need a scale to measure weight, then this product is OK, but if you need the data functionality, then don't by from Hochoice.
