The media could not be loaded. I bought these solely for decoration BUT i did need to use them briefly. They were sharp and worked well. I wouldn’t necessarily recommend of you need to cut for long periods of time but they are a cute accessory.

I've got plenty of scissors. All shapes, sizes, colors, for all purposes, but sometimes you just want something a little special. That's what this purchase was for me, that something special just to make me smile when I look at it. These scissors have a very Victorian look to them with the detailed base in an antiqued gold metal. They are delicate looking, but are very sturdy in construction. They aren't too heavy, but also are not so lightweight that you don't get a good grip. They fit well in my hand and work well cutting yarns and threads. They were a bit stiff when I first got them, but a drop of olive oil (and a good wiping) corrected that issue. I really should have gotten these a long time ago. Treat yourself, get a pair and you will not regret it.

I haven’t used them yet, but these are the prettiest scissors I’ve ever had. I’m sure I will smile each time I reach for them.

I have been using regular house scissors to cut my yarn for years. I saw the style of these scissors and they drew my attention, the small size as well. Ultimately, I decided to get them, because I thought they would be easier to put out of the way of my rambunctious toddler. Oh, my gosh, I have been missing out! These scissors cut my yarn so precisely! They are so sharp and I can cut so close to my knots with them! I love it! This is the best investment I ever made! They are small and not bulky. They are light. They are beautiful, as well. I cannot say enough about these scissors except, get them, they are great!

love these little scissors! really sharp, and i have pricked my finger once or twice, so be careful. i bought them to trim the wicks on my beeswax candles. they work perfectly! they produce a nice sharp cut without smashing the wick. i would imagine they would be good for sewing, as well. and they are so pretty! a special little tool to have for sewing or other crafting. definitely recommend, and worth the price! this is my second pair. my first pair is still working well, but i just wanted to have another on hand.

It’s smaller than expected, I’m not sure if the measurements where listed but regardless I didn’t look to see so my bad. But they are cute and cut well.

These are a great pair of scissors. I bought them for my mom who sews quite a bit. She says they are nice and sharp and easy to use. She is 91 and has arthritis. I was sort of worried they wouldn't be comfortable to use, but I selected them because of the design. I am pleased to know she is happy with them.

Such a stunning and antique-looking pair of scissors! It really is charming and such an improvement instead of the usual plastic or brightly colored scissor options most often available. Be aware - I think the blade is too fine and tiny to replace a usual pair of scissors though so please don't expect it to be a replacement, its not fair to the item or seller if you judge it based on that. This will most suit sewing/crafting, possibly hair cutting in a pinch (like a quick bang trim), and letter opening and as a gorgeous display on my desk with my French décor (which is my purpose). The handle is comfortable and beautifully designed and the gold tone has a nice sheen and details, a really pretty item that would improve your space or experience and recommended!
