Star Wars Lightsaber Forge Obi-Wan Kenobi Lightsaber

My son loved it! Exactly what I expected, definitely not cheaply made.

Very disappointed to find out this so called “light” saber doesn’t even light up. Can’t believe that’s even a thing!! It’s in small fine print on the side of the box that they don’t advertise. Had a very sad 3 yr old on his birthday. The overall feel is cheap and definitely not worth the almost $30! Especially since it doesn’t light up!!!!

The plastic used to make this lightsaber is strong and of excellent quality. A child's hand might find the handle too wide to hold onto. It comes in four easily assembled snap-together pieces. The blade snaps out and maintains its rigidity when swung hard. Although the lack of lights and sounds did not bother the buyer, it might let down other children who were expecting more affordable sabers with similar features. The package arrived a few days ahead of schedule and was shipped promptly. With its absence of lights and sounds, this saber promotes imaginative play. Because of its sturdy design, it can tolerate frequent use. Suggested for children who desire a lightsaber and enjoy creating their own sound effects.

This is a gift for my toddlers so we didn't want to get them super nice lightsabers because we knew they'd be pretty rough on them starting out. We were fine with the fact that they don't light up, but we're not fine that it was shipped with no sort of protection. It was just stuffed in a bag and shipped. The box was tore up and it looks so bad. We're not returning it because the item still looks OK, we're hoping our 3 year old doesn't care that the packaging is tore up.

Zero stars. Wish I had read the other reviews first, was in a hurry…. Why would a light saber not light up? Doesn’t say it anywhere in the description. And like other reviews, my son ripped the box open before I discovered the awful truth.

Purchased as a backup for my kid to use in school while in costume cause their regular glowing saber would be too distracting. Very sturdy but the blade doesn’t retract enough for my taste.

It is compatible with other forge lightsabers with lights but does not come with its own.
