Kablo Glass Water Bottle 32 oz with Flip Cap, 100% Borosilicate

Surprisingly strong. I accidentally knocked it off the counter with my elbow, the other night. It was full of water, with lid on, and it landed on the tile floor. The lid came partly unseated and it started leaking water onto the floor. But the glass container did not shatter or even crack. When I put the lid back on, everything worked like it's supposed to. Impressive.I also own  the version with a metal cap  that you have to screw off each time you want a swig. I like this flip-top version better, though, because I can choose between flipping the spout or unscrewing the cap. The spout does pour very slowly, as some reviewers have noted, and the flip-tab presses into your nose.So I really hope they work on designing a better cap.But the bottle size is amazing, and I'm delighted to have a glass bottle that is so resistant to breakage.

The top lip broke when putting on the lid. The lid can easily be opened in a bag and spill water. Do not buy.

It's not cheap! Glass is solid and bottle design is okay. The lid needs to be redesigned in my opinion. For such a large bottle there should be a wide mouth option for the lid. Who wants to hold the bottle up that long while the liquid trickles out of the lid; maybe some but I wasn't interested in that. I returned the bottle.

Nice glass bottle, but the cap does not fit tightly and after just a few weeks of use it started to pop off. Tilting the bottle up to drink is out of the question for fear the cap will come off or leak.

Really nice bottle. Easy to clean. Eye-pleasing. I like the way it uses space, being a large capacity water bottle. Knowing that glass is preferred to plastic for optimal health, I am very pleased to find a glass bottle I enjoy using. I bought the Blue ELF Neoprene Water Bottle Sleeve Bag to go with it, since I read that another reviewer found it helpful. That review was very useful! It is a good idea to buy the sleeve. It makes me feel that the bottle is protected. The sleeve is shorter than the bottle, but this is not a problem for my needs, and gives me more confidence in bringing the bottle with me wherever I go.

I cannot use a metal thermos and I've been trying to move away from plastic ones as well. This was the perfect solution. It takes scolding hot drinks like a champ! Since it needed a cover I purchased "Blue ELF Neoprene Water Bottle Sleeve Bag Insulator Cooler with Handy Drawstring" and it is a little short, but it insulates, and protects my Kablo bottle perfectly.My bottle is pretty durable too! It's taken a couple of nasty falls and hasn't cracked or broken yet!

Happy with my purchase, after using one day, adding some specific feedback that I don't recall seeing mentioned in other reviews. Main frustration is that the opening that you drink from is too small for the bottle size, it makes for a slow "tall glass of water"! ;-). I am looking for an extra long straw to alleviate this. Someone mentioned that the bottle is too heavy for a purse or a bag. I agree if you are carrying it filled with water, but most of the weight is the water itself! Think about how heavy a liter of soda or seltzer is, this is a generously sized bottle, so it holds a lot! The best thing I like is that it is easy to see when filling so it won't overflow, and it has a wide enough mouth to allow for ease in adding ice cubes. Others in my office use metal versions of a water bottle with skinny necks, and had complianed about not being able to refill easily. I will recommend, but am hoping the manufacturer will offer a lid that will fit with a larger drinking hole :-)....Please!!!!
