Why are the lens flat?

In past years I’ve always bought curved lenses. But, It’s 2021, and ALL sunglasses, aviator style + others, are all flat. Must be in-style. For the price of these, you can’t go wrong. I bought 2 pair of these and will be buying several other colors. I’ve always been under assumption that designer brands, Michael Kors, Chanel, etc. are best. These Soros are gorgeous, and fit much better than my designer glasses. Time/wear & tear/etc. will tell on quality. But, so far, these fit and look amazing!! W/bonus if they don’t last (break/smudge u can’t rid…) I won’t feel devastated for spending $300.+

The ones with the black frame and grey lens, do they look all black/can you see the wearers eyes?

They appear all black, but of can see the eyes threw the lens. They block a good portion of the sun out. I have light eyes and find I like these and good feel!
