These newer lights have a charger input, and a charger output. The lumens are great, and the wired connections are outstanding. Buy it!

Excellent light but the life span was very short. It worked for a very short time but just when I needed the most it failed me. I don’t think I will be buying this again.

It would be nice if you could replace the batteries once my battery completely died. I have to buy a whole new headset

My head is about 22 inches in circumference so not a really large head for a man. However, the headgear that came with the light would not fit comfortably on my head. I adjusted it to max and when it did not fit went and found an old strap from an old headlamp that did fit and took the around the head strap that came with lamp and put it over the top of the head to make a fit. When contacting the seller they said no small or large sizes only average. So I assume if your head is much smaller than mine you could make it fit if not, beware. If the battery last I think I will like the light. Light is bright and some cool features for bike riders. So we will see. additionally : used headlight yesterday for about four hours and it was still working when I went to charge it. Very happy with light to bad about the head gear.

The light itself is decent, but it draws the batteries dead SO fast. The rechargeable 18650s you get with it are probably just total crap, but I haven't tried any others yet -- you get maybe 2 hours of use before you have to recharge.My only other gripe is not really so much a problem with THIS specific headlamp as it is with ALL three-strap headlamps... I have a lot of hair, and when I'm using a headlamp it's usually for a project that requires I tie thay hair up (unless I want to fight strands in my eyes and mouth while trying to do detail work) that third strap in the center of my scalp makes it IMPOSSIBLE to comfortably wear my hair up and also wear this headlamp -- which is consistently the worst thing about headlamp in general.UPDATE: Scratch that comment about the center strap -- it's removable (and re-add-able) -- upgrading rating from 3 to 4 stars.
