Zipper Issue
The dual zipper is a nice feature but it breaks really easily!! My child wasn't fully transitioned before it broke during a midnight diaper change!!

Disappointed it doesn’t to what it claims to do
First time using it and it doesn’t seem to help at all with the startle reflex. She seems to be doing it more and her arms aren’t kept upright. I’m very disappointed. I will try it a couple more times and update if it improves, it as of right now it doesn’t do what it claims to.

Great Transitional Sleeper
Bought this for my 5 month-old who had started to want to roll over in bed. We had been using the halo swaddle sack with arms out, but he would fuss about going to sleep and distract himself with his flailing arms. The first few times we used the SwaddleDesigns Sack, he rolled over on his tummy and fell asleep. I wasn't thrilled about the tummy sleeping, but he went from 30-minute naps to 1 1/2 hour naps. He's now settled with sleeping on his side and sleeps great. There is still some arm moving going on when he's falling asleep, but he's not distracted by his fingers. Also, if he wakes up he can suck on the mittened sleeve and it buys me some time. He was waking up completely at 4:30am, but now soothes himself while complaining in a sort of half-asleep state until I can get the paci back in his mouth and he falls right back to sleep. The few times the sack has been in the wash at nap time, he was able to sleep in a regular sleeper with mittened cuffs. I bought another one of these sacks, but hopefully he'll be able to sleep without it in a month or so when it gets too hot.

Works fabulously!
Until 5 months old, our baby was swaddled in a zip up swaddle with arms tucked inside. However, he's outgrown the zip up swaddle and is getting closer to rolling over (which is a no no in a zip up swaddle with arms tucked inside). So, we looked for a "transition" swaddle. This is perfect. Snug enough to help him sleep (12 hours non-stop overnight), but allows him to use his arms/hands, which helps him self-soothe and go back to sleep easily. We LOVE that it has the option to cover his hands with built in mitten, because his fingernails are razor sharp and he scratches his face constantly without his hands covered when he sleeps.

My baby loves it
Bought it to transition my baby out of the swaddle and swing. He has always slept in his swing but at 5 months I wanted to transition him into the crib. He isn't miraculously sleeping through the night yet, which I didn't expect. However he has been able to soothe himself to sleep the last 2 days in this sleep sack, in his crib, without needing his swing. He seems calm and secure when I zip this up. It has helped us avoid a lot of unnecessary crying.
