This bike has throttle assist, 6kph unless pedaling, when pedaling, pushing the throttle changes the level of pedal assist, overriding the buttons on the controller. This is becoming more common on ebikes sold in the UK and Europe (UK retained EU ebike laws after Brexit) full throttle bikes are allowed if passed by DVSA and classified as 250 low powered mopeds. This is a class of moped that otherwise falls into the definition of a pedal assisted bicycle and as such is legal to ride on cycle paths and roads by riders aged 14 and over. Wisper bikes in the UK sell legal throttle bikes with DVSA certification allowing riders to reach 15.5mph without pedaling if desired.

Q: What has been the range (in distance) that you have managed on a single charge?

Know this old post, My e rider has same LG battery and motor and frame and handle design and weight and does 7-11 miles full throttle only, 6,7 lot hills 10, 12 flats in central London if pedal assist expect do double Not tried assist as I not that well lol. If you can find e rider is all same apart from wheels slightly doff computer and this has discs and half the price but paint chips easily. One so maybe mine poorer paint it still going though after 6 month use and 230 miles. My e rider charges full in 3hrs too.

yes you could fit basket on bike but it would not fold up point less

There are no gears. The bike is really hard to get going uphill from a standing start.
