I suppose I can't speak too heavily on the quality of the product since it is the only Witch Hazel I have used. With that said, I think this is an outstanding product. I purchased it mainly to reduce acne on my face as I have very oily skin that is acne prone. Instead of washing my face more than twice a day which tends to dry it, I wet a piece of cotton and wipe my face with the witch hazel which removes the oil and treats the skin with its inherent properties. I like it because it is organic (and thus I'm willing to pay more), it does not have a strong scent, and does not dry my skin. I have noticed a mild reduction in acne in the past 2 months, which is an improvement to either washing or dabbing my face with paper to remove oil.

Nothing wrong with the product, quite pleased, BUT not happy to realize I purchased an 8 ounce bottle for $9.85 when I previously purchased a 16 ounce for only $10.49. Though I think this is an Amazon thing, I have to keep a closer look at what I am getting and pricing.

Beware! Contains Alcohol.
Revised: A commenter pointed out something I should have remembered...of COURSE alcohol can be organic, too. I've even had organic saki, so I apologize to Humphrey's for blurting out a completely mistaken complaint. However, I still prefer straight witch hazel to the same stuff with alcohol, so I'll only bump my rating up to 2 as an apology for going off half cocked. My earlier rant: How can this be an organic product if it contains alcohol? Far as I know, organic alcohol is an oxymoron. Anyway, I was so excited to find organic witch hazel that I didn't read carefully. My bad. So for all of you who are like me and check reviews briefly and then click "buy," fair warning! And if you're sensitive to smells, the alcohol smell will knock you over. What a disappointment!

I really wanted to like this but it didn't work for me
I really wanted to like this but it didn't work for me. I bought it to use as a toner after washing my face but it dried my skin out too much. I would only use a couple drops also so it's not that I was using too much. I think my skin prefers the minimum amount of products. Witch hazel is good for all sorts of things though so I'm still keeping it in my medicine cabinet.

Worked wonders for skin
Even though there was a crack in the bottle and it leaked, This Witch hazel worked better than I could imagine. It has a weird smell, kind of like vinegar. Does not sting or burn like other astringents. I have been using for two weeks.

Excellent product and company
Excellent product and company! My first bottle arrived with a crack in it and some of the witch hazel had leaked out; they promptly sent a replacement. I really appreciate it. And my skin feels amazing using this!
