I bought these pink roller skates for my 6-year-old niece, and they’ve been a HUGE hit. The color is adorable, super vibrant, and exactly what she wanted. The fit is comfortable, and she’s able to put them on and off pretty easily with a little help. She literally lives in them. Lol. They’ve held up great so far and seem sturdy enough to handle all the wear and tear from a very energetic little skater. If you’re looking for a fun, well-made pair of beginner skates that kids will actually use, these are perfect. Watching her confidence grow while skating has been the best part! Highly recommend for any little one who loves pink and wants to roll in style. The wheels even light up.

I was looking for skates for my 6yo and 7yo to learn how to skate and after reading many reviews about how these were good for beginners, purchased these METROLLERS - 1 black, 1 purple - in size L since my daughter 7yo wears a size 4.5-5 shoe, and my son 6yo a size 3.5-4 shoe. I also purchased a set of matching wrist, elbow, and knee protectors from Amazon as well for their safety. I loved the look, the solid construction, lots of padding/cushioning, the triple safety (ankle strap, Velcro strap across laces, and shoe lace - both skates came with laces by the way 👍🏽), extra toe stoppers, tools and screws, and the feature to allow for growing feet. I wear a size 11 women’s shoe and at the max extension, the skate fit my foot -snug but fitted 😊- impressive. The kids LOVED them and couldn’t wait to try them so I had them walk/practice on the carpeted areas of the house, but when they went on the tile flooring or smooth concrete of the garage flooring they were slipping and sliding all over the place in a VERY unsafe, unsteady manner, which caused me to second guess the whole BEGINNER description of the skates and reviews. 😟 Someone in the Question/Answer section said their wheels were too tight and asked how to loosen and was informed to use the skate tool. So I watched on YouTube how to tighten skate wheels and figured I’d try that see if that helps any because at this point I was considering returning the skates for something more “BEGINNER”. The YouTubers say that you should NEVER just use skates fresh out the box. Always check them to ensure all the wheels, “trucks”, and toe stops are tightened to your desire. Who knew?!🤷🏽‍♀️ Thank God for YouTube. Immediately I saw that my issue was ALL of the wheels were way too loose. I used the skate tool that looks like a socket wrench to tighten all of the wheel screws so that they didn’t revolve so freely. Now I have 2 pairs of PERFECT BEGINNER SKATES!! The kids confidence were renewed and yesterday’s fear became today’s triumph! I posted a video and photos showing what I mean about the loose wheels because that would’ve been helpful to me when I reviewed the skates prior to purchasing. Thanks Amazon!!

My daughter loved them. Size adjustment is great. They are perfect with the different area of adjustment. You and tighten the bolts to slow the turning to help 1st times learn great quality and price was perfect
