100 Acoustic Lessons Book/Online Audio (Guitar Lesson Goldmine)

I really love this book, because it contains 100 lesson organized in different techniques, and I can do whatever lesson I feel like doing on a particular day. Every lesson takes between 10 and 20 minutes, so I don't need a whole lot of time to get them down. This is helping me improve my playing and also makes my practice routine more fun by including different exercises. I love the fact this comes with a CD so all exercises are demonstrated.Highly recommended.

Love this book. Short well written lessons. You can spend a few minutes or a few hours on each. I am about a third of the way through the book and already have learned much and seen my playing improved.

I generally like these "100 lessons" series. My wife and I first ran across them on a local store, and liked the approach taken by the book we saw (which was the acoustic lessons book reviewed her). I have since picked up the one for blues guitar, and blues bass.These books will not teach your to play specific songs, but rather walk you through various techniques, music theory, etc, using a progressive approach. Both my wife an I play guitar, so some of the earliest stuff in the book is repeat for us. However, with the way the book is organised, it's easy to pick up with the lessons where ever you skill level leaves off. The CDs are not absolutely necessary, but are nice to fall back on, when you hit a technique that you are not sure how it should sound.Again, great if you need to brush up on playing techniques (strum patterns, chord progressions, fingerpicking patterns, muting, hammering, etc, etc, etc). Not the right book if you looking for instruction on playing specific songs.

Very simple easy to understand lessons for beginners. I’m a new teacher and really needed a resource in front of me to provide structure to my lessons. This is helping to shape what I teach.

Best tutorial for guitar, next to Total Acoustic Guitar, I have ever owned. The lessons are complete and very informative. If I had this book back in the day I would be a much better player now. But I don't quit and 100 Acoustic Guitar Lesson the reason I know I'll reach my goal of being an above average player.

STill trying to figure out how to use this book. I can only work on my guitar at short times, I am disabled in both my arms. And it was always a dream of mine to learn how to play. The book is a lil hard to follow.

it is ok, gave to grandson

This was a Christmas gift for my 14 year Nephew who is learning to play, he was thrilled and especially liked the instructional CD's that were included.

While it has 100 lessons in the contents, my book is missing pages 193 onwards.Book touches briefly on a bunch of topics.

E' un metodo davvero singolare, unico decisamente. Io suono da oltre 40 anni e sono facilitato nella comprensione dei singoli capitoli, ma non lo consiglio ai neofiti puri. E' adatto a chi possiede già delle basi di conoscenza degli accordi principali irregolari e dei barrè. Viceversa è adatto ad essere utilizzato con un insegnante, pur se con esempi stringati, affronta tutte le tematiche dei vasi stili musicali, in particolare le accordature aperte. Peccato non ci sia una versione in Italiano, non è di semplice comprensione il testo per chi come me, conosce l'inglese marginalmente. Lo consiglio comunque, perchè è completo e gli esercizi possono essere affrontati nel tempo!

Great book. Not for beginners. For guitarists who are stuck in a rut. This is a guitar book that has really worked for me. Lessons are short and you can finish one session in about 30 minutes or less. If you are a acoustic player tired of playing the same old C,G,D chords.....this book is for you.

Some excellent ideas - puts a lot of things which you probably already knew into context. Also helps you get rid of some bad habits and helps you progress, particularly if you've hit a bit of a plateau. The short lessons also help, particularly when you have to fit playing in with everything else you've got to do.
