Update of old mortise lock.
This was a direct fit for my old mortise lock. I was even able to use my old cylinders so I did not have to change keys, although it comes with new locks and keys. Caution: If you use this lock for living quarters, leave the inside key in the lock so you don't ave to search for a key if you need to egress in a hurry.

Secure and happy
It was installed on front door. Took awhile for locksmith to install because the original holes in the door were not cut out correctly when the first lock was installed many years ago. He took his time to install the lock correctly. I had measured the original lock before ordering and locksmith was pleased. I am over all satisfied with my purchase. Can’t put a price on the security of your home.

Had to make my mortise a little bigger to install, but other than that it was easy.

Not safe to use.
I installed mine in my iron security storm door.I found a bug in this one. Which caused me to switch back to using a marks.It you dead bolt it and then shake the entire door the dead bolt will fly back into the mechanism causing the door to open. Very unsafe.
