If you are a side sleeper and looking for a good night's rest. You should probably keep looking.
I've been tossing and turning for awhiile not able to consistently sleep through the night while on this bed. I'm normally a side sleeper and think here is the problem. The bed is just a little bit too hard. I have given it 5 months to break in but I still find it too hard. If you are a small person you may not experience this problem. I weigh approximately 195 lbs. In the company's defense I just reached out to them about this issue. If they respond responsibly then you will see this review change to reflect their good business practice.

mostly good reviews, removable cover
With all the internet mattresses out there it was hard to choose where to start. After researching and reading reviews for all the top brands I decided to go with yogabed for a few reasons. They have a longer trial period than many others, mostly good reviews, removable cover, price point was good and obviously prime two day shipping. The box for the king size was pretty bulky and weighed about as much as I do. But my husband hauled it upstairs alone. Once opened it inflated to full size in just a few minutes. As someone with a very sensitive nose I expected the smell to be overwhelming but it wasn't that bad. We had the fan and AC on. I actually noticed more of a chemical smell a few days later than when we initially opened it. The mattress itself seems well made and is comfortable. Our previous mattress was a latex foam mattress and was much much harder than the yogabed. The pillows that came with the mattress are nice but I felt it was too thick for me to sleep on. I don't think this mattress causes over heating and am still comfortable under blankets in summer weather. Rolling over takes a little longer than my old firmer mattress and I do feel the edge is a little to soft and like I could fall off. I'm still not 100 percent sure it's a keeper but my husband loves it and sleeps like a rock. I will update my review in a few more weeks.

No smell and the pillows were nice. Just wasn't comfortable for us.
We tried this bed after trying the T&N bed. This was much softer, but there must be something about foam mattresses that doesn't work for us. We ended up contacting Amazon for a return and they promptly refunded our money and told us to do whatever we wanted with it.The foam had NO smell and the included pillows were really nice.

Great bed for the price. Just enough firmness yet still squishy
I have owned a king size for over a year now. Love the bed, get many compliments by any one who uses it and claim its the best they've ever slept on. So far holding up wonderfully.

Hot and Sinking feeling!
This bed gets very hot after laying on it for a few minutes. In addition the foam has that sink in feeling. I don’t recommend it for anyone above 180 lb.

Best bed I have ever slept on, really helps my back and no pain when I wake up.
I have spinal stenosis , arthrosis along with old age. This has helped so very much and no morning pain.

BEST BED/SLEEP EVER
Like so many, I spent what felt like an eternity researching mail order foam beds. I watched tons of reviews (and most of those are fake and biased I've learned). Yogabed got good mentions in a lot of the reviews I watched, but "coincidentally" Leesa and Casper (who pays for good reviews) and Purple were always the top picks. I bought a Leesa and I loved it.... at first... then it developed this odd slope that made me feel like I was going to roll out of the bed. They offered a replacement, but.... then if that did not work out I no longer had the 100 nights to return and would be stuck with it.Honestly, I snagged an Amazon Prime Card offer for an extra 10% off a mattress plus 5% cash back with my card and 3% additional rebate with Ibotta and the Yogabed was on sale for $699. WIth all those discounts, it was going to be $300 less than I paid for the Leesa. While it wasn't the highest reviewed of the beds I'd seen, I thought with a 100 night sleep guarantee I would try it for the deal.I would pay $1,000 for this bed and tell you it was worth every penny this mattress is THAT GOOD. The Leesa took about a week to get used to, but this was perfect from the first night. It's hard to describe the Yogabed (which is what a lot of reviews say). The top is plush and soft and has a slight memory foam feel but you never feel stuck in the mud or like you sunk into quick sand. It's just.... perfect. You sink just enough that your body feels cradled without feeling smothered. Below the soft layers the bed is firm.... but not like you're sleeping on a brick mattress firm. It's a "supportive" firm feeling. So you lay cradled in soft conforming foam on top with the support and solid firm base below you. It's the perfect balance and harmony of both. Also, I am a side sleeper. Part of why I chose the Leesa was that it kept coming up as a top pick for side sleepers. I would rate the Leesa 4 stars (if not for the defect mine had, which I am sure is a fluke) overall, but only a 3.5 for a side sleeper. My head and neck never felt right on it, and the small of my back always felt like it lacked support. I also slept on the Leesa for about 9 weeks, so this was not a matter of adapting to it. (If you are curious, I'm 5'9" and 205 pounds.) The Leesa is a great bed for a back or stomach sleeper, but if you are a side sleeper not so much.Side sleepers will love Yogabed. The small of my back is perfectly cradled into the top gel memory foam layer. I don't have a single ache or pain when I wake up, and I feel so rested even on a 4 hour night of sleep. It's like the bed gives you bonus hours of rest. My FitBit sleep history also shows I'm having less restless events and longer deep sleep duration in the Yogabed.Yogabed does come with 2 free pillows made out of the gel memory foam. They are great pillows if you sleep on your back but I find them uncomfortable for side sleeping (and think stomach sleepers may have issues too). They contour to your head and keep your head and neck propped up nicely, but this is the opposite of what you want when you sleep on your side. So I am not sleeping with the free pillows, but I have a chaise lounge in my living room I lay on my back when watching TV and they are a perfect fit there.Yogabed is also the only bed I've come across where you can unzip and wash the cover. Other beds have removable covers but they cannot be washed. A replacement cover if you would ever need one is only around $100.The bed rebounds almost instantly from where it contours when you lay on it. It also has great side support for a foam bed. Most of these beds you cannot sit on or near the edge or it flattens to near the bottom. I can sit my big 200 pound butt on the endge and it doesn't come close to bottoming out. I also sleep close to the edge of the bad, which was a no go with the Leesa. I had to forced myself to sleep further into the bed (about 6-7 inches from the edge) which really makes a queen sized bed MUCH smaller (especially if you have someone else in it with you.)I know people always want to know how these beds would be for adult bedroom acrobatic activities.... let's just say doing the "downward dog" with a friend in the Yogabed is perfect and perhaps made somewhat better.... doing that "pose" in the Leesa had that bottoming out effect about it (and not the kind of bottoming you want in your mattress). You can also pose at the edge of the bed, which could not be done on the Leesa. :-)The Yogabed really deserves more attention in the mail order mattress market. Consumer reports also has this rated as "recommend/buy" on their list and it did excellent in their testing. You get 100 risk free nights to try it out. If you are as nervous as I was about buying a mystery mail bed, don't be. Just do it!

It is a very good mattress. The cover looks great
It is a very good mattress. The cover looks great. It is a little firm for us so returned it. I would give an 8 in the firmness scale.Customer service was excellent. Provided an extra topper to reduce firmness but it still did not work for us.
