I love it but my 11 yo doesn't.

A good resource for home

My son who just graduated sixth grade I wanted to do some staying over the summer and got this book. The words help expand his vocabulary, as well as he was able to look towards up in an actual dictionary, which he had no idea what it was. This is a Gray spelling book for practice or to grow your vocabulary.

Their "fill in the blank" feature is very frustrating since a lot of the words used for the same week are synonyms. I have to take extra time to make my own lists and "fill in the blank" sheets out of words they use but from different weeks and even then their sentences lack context clues. What 6th grader knows all about the mafia or politics or Macbeth? Would not recommend.

My child loves loves love this purchase.

No place to practice or write. A list of words only. Seem too advanced for grade level.

This book is moreso 8th. These words are semi hard for 6th

It is a little harder. Good for advanced spelling practices for 6 grade student
