The media could not be loaded. First off I wasn’t to stay I love this underglow and its made really nice. However you have to buy a inline fuse and I added a switch. I think the switch is important so the lights are not running when it’s daytime. Also the kit does not say what size fuse to run but I found that a 5amp is more then enough. Besides it not coming with an inline fuse I would also say that the wires should be longer. None of the pods made it to the rear of my truck. Maybe they could sell a simple extension cord? If you need them longer I guess you could simply splice the wires and tie in your own wires.DO NOT INSTALL UNDER HOOD. I highly recommend running power to the inside of your cab then installing from there. Reason being is your engine pay gets way hotter and these lights already run hot. If you do install the box under the hood I wouldn’t expect it to last long.Overall it’s a great buy for the price. The added cost of the switch, inline fuse, and extra wire was less then $20 from autozone. Also took about 4 hours to wires everything for the box, install pods and zip tie the wires up. 8 pods was more then enough to evenly light everything up.

I have use opt7 for all my aftermarket neon lighting needs on my truck Have been satisfied with every product i've bought from them this current review is going up.After I contacted them and told them that I put the control box in the wrong spot in my vehicle and they are sending me a free replacement even though I've had the kit for almost a year.This is the best company and customer service I've ever received

Lights are still impressive even after 3 years being installed. Just wish they were controlled by a switch instead of bluetooth application. The app has changed twice since I've been using them.

The media could not be loaded. Have only installed 4 of the 8 lights so far, very impressed with the brightness. Has true white lights. Not really hard to install depending on the vehicle. Edit: I hadn't used the lights in awhile when I go to use them now the app is requiring a password and will not connect to the lights. Tried uninstalling app and does nothing. Edit 2: contacted customer support as my order was outside the warranty period, they are still making good on my issue and sending a replacement. 100% would recomend this company for your rock light needs

Great product. Namebrand OPT7 is one I've trusted for many years and several vehicles. Easy to install and route the wires. Hookup was easy and link to the app even easier.

Ok so I waited and was excited for these to arrive and they arrived today and was going to install them tomorrow. I opened the box and checked it’s contents and there is no control box. I am very upset because now I can’t install these and tomorrow was my only day to be able to do it. I emailed Opt7 and hopefully they will ship me a control box to my house tomorrow. It is unacceptable. I’ve always liked Opt7 products but for them to have a completely missing item in their product just pisses me off.

Fairly easy to install with basic tools for the novice or experienced enthusiast alike. Brightness is stellar. OPT7 usually has great products.Cons: the Bluetooth app is different Than my OPT7 aura pro underglow kit, quite disappointed I can’t control both with the same app.It’s just RGB so the white function doesn’t necessarily make a great white light. It looks more like a rainbow, which is also cool. But I was hoping for decent white lighting.For the simple reason it uses a cheap Chinese app to control and not their own in house app.. which leads me to believe it’s just relabeled as an opt7 product and sold by them is why I give 3/5 stars.

I installed on my Hummer H3 and had to use the splitters as a wire extension because the wires weren’t long enough. So if you’re installing on a truck you’ll for sure need the wire extensions they offer. Besides that I am highly impressed with how bright they are and they have great customer service. When I originally got the product it was missing the wiring going from the control box to the battery, but they sent me a whole new kit and just had me return the one with missing parts.
