I bought it cause I wanted a tall stand by my door, it works.The shelves/platforms are compressed wood. The polls are plastic and screw together. You can adjust the height by determining how many platforms you want. Little plastic feet and toppers for the top shelf.INTENSE plastic/chemical smell from opening the package, so maybe let it air out so you're not breathing harsh chemicals if you have sensitive lungs (I had a cold while putting it together).It's NOT very sturdy - being that its construction is super simple, you can expect that it's not meant for anything heavy-duty. I mainly place keys, phones, and mail on it, so I'm okay with that. Comes with a "wall mount" which is just a hook screw and zip-tie which is actually really funny to me, but hey. I won't be putting a hole in my wall for this one though, cause it's very much a temporary piece in its design.

So this was easy to put together. No tools required, just about thirty minutes to an hour, depending on how fast you wanna work.Everything slots into everything else very nicely, and when you're done, the result looks fine, if a bit cheap.The reason it looks cheap is because the poles are all gray plastic, not metal like you might think when looking at a picture online. The plastic is sturdy enough, and the shelf hasn't wobbled or seemed likely to topple or collapse, so for that it basically does everything it's supposed to do.I thought it might have too many tiers, but actually it's just right, and holds a slew of my girlfriend's doodads, gizmos and miscellany. Couldn't ask for more.

Sorry for the mess haha. The assembly is easy and quick plus it looks really nice for it to be this cheap! It’s a bit wobbly but not as much as other products I’ve seen. Just fyi the tube parts are plastic not metal but they look good! I’m using mine for my gaming corner, I really like it!

First, this was soooo easy to put together. I'm thankful for that. However, 3 out of the 4 pegs for the base were broken. They still seem to be holding ok, but I'm only using 2 shelves at the moment, and there's not much on them. None of my shelving boards seemed to have damage, but the pegs did. I do like that you can make this as tall as you want, because if I used all 5 shelves, it would cover up the light switch in the area that I'm putting it in. Overall though, the base of the product should not be the flimsiest part, and I'm hoping it will hold up over time!

I bought this to fit in a small space to hold Pops.Fits nicely...looks good.

This unit was easy to assemble and honestly better than I was expecting it to be. Even though the long pieces are plastic on the espresso color ones they look like wood. Really great

Very, very pleased. I needed something simple and vertical (lack of space) to put my boots as a normal shoe rack just didn't have enough space. I ordered this and had it up and running within 10 minutes of it being delivered.Very easy to assemble - it all screws together, no tools required. Very sturdy once assembled, although I have put the heavier New Rocks on the bottom shelf.Edit; Liked them so much I ordered a second.

Easy to assemble and is sturdy in a way, but it’s tall and light, so it’ll lean a little if placed on carpet and not weighed down by items. However, it’s hard to weigh down since the usable area on each shelf is limited to the space between the columns.Didn’t really work for my intended purpose and was basically too wide/deep for any other corners, nooks or crannies of my flat (even when I made it half as tall). It really is not worth anything near the ~£30 price; half that would be more accurate. It’s just plastic and pressed wood.

Arrived on time, could have done with some more padding inside as a couple of the shelves have been damaged in the corners possibly during transit. As it’s for the balcony I’m not to bothered as easily hidden and does the job. Poles are plastic and just screw into place so easy to assemble. Very lightweight so I’ve put something heavy on the bottom to an her it. A bit overpriced for what it is as have seen bigger types of these shelving units cheaper but it was what I needed in regards to space saving.

Didn't know what to expect when buying these. They were the best value item when I looked for something like this. Maybe still are best value.Completely tidied up my home-office desk by placing everything on the side in neat shelves.Very easy to assemble - a bit of a repetitive boring job. Not a single tool required.I'm happy with them. Might buy another set.

If budget or space is limited (or both), this is a good solution. Easy and quick to assemble ; good value. Bear in mind displayed items need to be no more than 13 inches (33cm) in height (apart from on the top shelf of course).
