Easy to install
So far great little radio for smaller car. Easy to hide the base under the seat and nothing more to install since the controls are in the mic. Was perfect for the wife's car where it's not used daily. Out of her way but there when I want/need it.The only down side is controlling the volume. Miss a knobs up turn for quick easy adjustment, but understand with the design not practical.

Extreme waste of money
After receiving the radio I hooked it up in my Radio Shack to test it out. The wattage was as advertised and functionally the radio seemed fine. The I ran through a series of "on air" tests and everyone told me they could barely hear me. In fact several told me they could not make out what I was saying at all. I had a friend use it so I could hear it and sure enough the transmit audio was crap. I contacted Anysecu and was told in a one liner that there was no transmit audio adjustment. I have worked radios long enough to know there are circuit fixes that can be clipped or added but Anysecu did not seem interested in helping. So the short answer is save your money and buy something that will work. Not this radio.

Great little radio!
Great little radio was easy to install under my seat. Since all the controls are in the mic it has a very low profile in the car. Doesn’t get in the way of anything in the car!

Compact and gets the job done
Before purchasing this I was using a portable HT hooked to a mobile antenna but the barely 5 watts of power was just not enough for reliable communication. I really like that this radio takes up about the same footprint of space. The 20 watts of power works alot better. However, the radio suffers some severe intermod and image interference quite frequently which is very annoying. It's not enough to make me return it since I can't find any other full power radio this compact. For what it is it works well enough. Has a lot of great features and is PC programmable. Don't forget to buy the programming cable it doesn't come with one.

Small and easy to hide in your vehicle
I used this for a stealth installation in my x5. I was able to mount the unit in my center console and pass the speaker mic through the gap in the armrest. When not in use I would just put the mic back in the console and nobody would ever know there was a ham radio in the car!

The size is great.
Manipulating the buttons takes a little bit of familiarization, but once you get it down, this thing is great. We'll see if it's still working in six months to a year from now.Update: I am gettinging reports the my audio is weak..I basically have to kiss the mic to get ok audio out. Also, I noticed that the connector for the hand mic on the radio unit is missing the locking nut. This allows the connector to fully rotate and had I not caught this I would have twisted the wires off inside the radio. Guess I will have to fix the factory failure.

Hides well
I had a problem. My wife and I share cars. Taking a radio out to use and them putting it away became a deterrent. With this radio it is always available and just requires a mic clip. It is out of the way for my wife and all I have to do is grab the mic.

Anysecu WP-9900 dualband mobile Ham Radio no program cable
UPDATE: This radio has medium reviews. I didn't understand the low reviews at first. So, for that low price, I figured I'd take a chance. This is the 2nd radio I bought. I lost my programming cable from the first radio. The manufacturer didn't include a programming cable with this one. Then they told me I could buy one for $10 here on Amazon. They are rude. I shouldn't have to spend more money on something that should've came with the radio in the first place. You can program the radio from the mic. But imagine having to program anything over a few frequencies by hand. It would take forever. I have over 150 frequencies. The main unit is very small but very sturdy. My 1st two signal reports were well received. I asked for honest reports from my friends and explained why I needed it. They said it sounded great on their end. I do recommend wiring it directly to the vehicle vs. using the included 12v plug. I did buy a mic extender that increased the length to 4' total. That helps tremendously. Other than that, fair product! Ok price! But spend your hard earned money on a more reputable business with local support.
