Samsill Vintage Hardcover Notebook

It’s exactly like the picture, the book spine looks royal! There is a name tag on the book though but it’s fine for me. The pages look nice and burned also has a book mark. Not small or big it’s medium and perfect.

The notebook itself is good and of good size. However, the value it provides doesn’t equate the high price, it should be priced in the CAD $12-$15 price range.The paper is lovely, I really like the stained look. The cover is sturdy although it is not real leather, meaning it won’t look so lovely for a long time.Unfortunately, the notebook was mailed to me without packaging. A mailing label was slapped on the notebook itself and tossed in the mail. So any imperfections, such as dented corners is likely due to the poor decision to toss it in the mail as is.

I'm really pleased with this. The cover is beautiful, and the pages are a really nice tan with a good weight. Racing to finish my last notebook just so I can get to writing in this one. Well worth it, and I highly recommend it.

I am a writer, I write everyday and this is one of the many journals I have. I am extremely specific when it comes to selecting good quality journals and surprisingly this journal is great! One of my favorites

There is some finish/coating on the pages which makes it difficult for writing with a fountain pen. Other notebooks are much easier to write in. Disappointed. I wanted to like this but kept getting frustrated when writing with fountain pens. I haven’t tried other types of pens.

It’s durable, holds up if you’re a blue collar shop guy. It’s held up to welding and mechanic shops.
