Fat with Hand surgery
Okay so I'm a big girl and Gained some weight I can't wait to JDHWHJ lose after this. But got surgery on my dominant right hand and never thought I would be THIS pathetic in the bathroom with my left hand. I'm so embarrassed with how I tried to bend, apparently fail at holding toilet paper right with my left hand. Couldn't quite reach (can with my dominant hand but idk what the difference is) I been doing dang Yoga poses, showering after half wiping best I could and finally bent a metal hanger in ways that helped but scratched my booty once or twice. I been timing an embarrassing 45 minutes in the bathroom the past week and coming out the bathroom panting like I wrestled a bear. Reaaally had to pee and this finally came in the mail. Let. Me. Tell. YOU. I wrapped some Toilet paper around this bad boy. The firm handle gave the perfect reach and grip. The shape looked wierd but when I dipped it below it was like a dolphin perfectly swooping into the ocean in that perfect arc. Swoop. Swoop. Took me a try or two on learning to wrap the toilet paper the best way. But this Dolphin swooping booty wiper got me in and out the potty within 10 easy minutes. I came dancing outta there like a 3 year old happy she did a good potty. Get this especially if planning surgery. Save the yoga poses for the gym.

That it does not work!
My husband was having shoulder replacement surgery, so we got on line and looked into items that would aide in his independence and keep his dignity. We purchased two brands, thank goodness, and tried them both out. This is the sorriest excuse for an aide I have ever attempted to use. I have two hands and it does not hold the paper! It is hard to press the release as well if you could get the paper to "hold". The other brand Juvo Toilet Aid- long reach saved the day. Do not waste your money on this one. I even tried to use it with a rag or sponge to see if I could get use out of it to clean hard to reach places in the home, like behind the toilet. It didn't work for that either. I threw it away since how do you return this type of item once it's open?

A nice assistive device...but not for everyone
Bought this for my mom after her recent hip surgery. This is a great tool, however, it takes some getting used to. First off, wiping from between the legs from back to front is challenging for those people whose thighs spread when sitting on the toilet. So, to get the wand between the thighs is challenging if not impossible for those individuals who cannot stand to wipe themselves. Also, my mom complained that the toilet paper did not stay on the stick when wiping and a lot of toilet paper had to be used in the process. It became a mess to say the lease because the toilet paper would fall off after wiping unto the floor. I think that the idea of this tool is a great assistive device, but not for people who cannot stand to wipe and those with large thighs.

Don't bother, it doesn't work.
What I disliked about the wiper it was difficult to get the paper on the handle. They have you wrap the paper around it. I had broken my dominant arm and it was tricky to take care of myself and the wand didn't make it easier. I needed for front wiping and it didn't do a very good job. I wouldn't bother with this tool.

Don't buy!
Bought just in case for a big surgery - decided to see if it would grab the wipes and how hard the release will be (haven't had surgery yet) It doesn't grab hold of the wipes good enough and if it did it would be a problem too because the release is too hard to use for somebody who is weak or has just had surgery.
