Great scissors! I wanted a pair of scissors for the kitchen that had zero plastic on them so I can throw into the dishwasher. We're not putting plastic in, since the microplastics fly around and stick to other items if washed in the dishwasher. This pair hits the mark. Sharp and cut everything I need.

These scissors were wonderful right out of the box. And ever since. Not to heavy, but a great feel in the hand. Sharp and comfortable moving through paper or plastic packaging. I'm very glad I spent the extra on this instrument.

These shears are the best! I tested them on plastic bags and a few rubbery things that normal scissors usually have a trouble cutting and compared it to another, much more expensive brand of shears that I recently bought from a culinary specialty store. These shears cut through it all without effort while the other pair did just okay at. The steel is similar to the steel in my good forged chefs knife which means that it'll likely hold its edge over time as long as they aren't abused. A couple of things to consider before buying. These shears are super SHARP! unlike some scissors that have one somewhat duller static blade, usually the upper blade, both blades on this pair are razor sharp. They can cut even when closed, if you slide your fingers or palm along the blade. Also, these shears do not have gripper grooves and/or a wavy blade that some shears use for grasping meat while snipping poultry and cutting through poultry bones. This may cause this pair to slip and cut something that you may not want to cut. Nonetheless, those who are misusing kitchen shears for cutting poultry should really look into a decent deboning knife and cleaver.

I just received the shears so I can’t answer questions relating to durability or use. I washed them carefully because they seem very sharp. They look like a great pair of kitchen shears. Well packaged with inner wrapping to protect against sharp points and edges. I will be spatchcocking a chicken tomorrow so that will be a good test. If I had one non positive comment it’s that I would have liked the blades to be removable for more thorough cleaning after using on fowl or meat, but I knew that going in. The all metal construction, the size of the finger holes, the overall look of the scissors are what convinced me to make this choice even without removable blades. There is what appears to be a tightening screw if and when needed.

Very sturdy, easy to hold and cuts through chicken bones no problem. Would definitely recommend.

This is one tough shears! I like that you can separate for cleaning or if you just want to use the knife. I bought it to spatchcock the turkey and it worked great! Love it!

Sharp, strong, and pretty easy to clean. Only issue is the spring-loaded safety clip which is helpful to keep things safe but hard to manage with one hand. You often need two hands to open and close the shears.

Razor sharp out of the box. Sturdy handles are well designed for big or small hands. Very nice that the two halves can be taken apart for cleaning (but be careful not to lose the small parts when you do this). The blades on mine had a sharp bur along the corners of the back sides. A couple of minutes with a file corrected this, but one would expect the manufacturer to do this before shipping the product. Also, a small cover that is pressed on to the rivet that joins the two halves fell off on first use. This cover is not needed, so I simply threw it away. Overall, this is a robust and well designed product. Would recommend.
