It works!!!
I'm pregnant and have been having tailbone pain. Sitting was soooo uncomfortable and it was hard since I'm on bed rest and can't be up too much. I saw the reviews for this and thought I'd give it a try. I LOVE IT!!!! I recommend it for people who have tailbone pain. I can finally sit for long periods of time with no pain!

Would have made it better to tolerate
This cushion is hard. Also..if the hard edges could have been cut off....Would have made it better to tolerate. But I guess it's better then those cheap inflatables 👍

Possibly effective after a while, but not comfortable enough to try
I purchased this product for someone whose tailbone had been sore for months after a nasty fall. I've known people who have gotten inner tubes to serve the same purpose, but this donut looked more comfortable and considerably less embarrassing to have at school than a rubber tube. The product arrived on time and looked exactly as shown in the photos. The size is perfect for your typical office or kitchen table chair, although I wouldn't recommend using it on an airplane as suggested because it's a bit large for that. The cushion stays in place pretty well if your chair has a back, but it's a bit slippery on benches.The reason I'm giving it two stars is that it just isn't comfortable, plain and simple. Perhaps the medical donuts are supposed to be very firm, but I expected from the photos and description something like a firm memory foam. Instead it felt more like a stiff cardboard frame with a layer of foam over it. The person I bought it for didn't end up using it more than a couple times as it was no more comfortable than their office chair already was, and the raised seat is kind of hard to get used to.

Due to neurological damage, I needed this as a toilet cushion, but the opening didn't quite work, ever.
