Surgilube is composed mainly of propylene glycol, propylene oxide, water and the antiseptic chlorhexidine gluconate, a bacteriostatic agent.

Q: I see that the cap is plastic. Is the tube plastic or metal?

The tubes that have the small screw cap are metal. The tubes with the large plastic flip caps feel like plastic.
