I have a smaller clamp that is pretty much exactly like this. I liked it but it just wasn't long enough for some of my filming needs. I was glad to find this longer clamp mount that will allow me to get a better angle for fishing when I have it clamped to something that isn't very tall. I think this will work fabulous for pier fishing where I can clamp it to the pier benches and it will still be tall enough to have a good angle and to be able to see over the railing. It is very sturdy and the weight of the gopro doesn't affect the stability of the 'arm' at all. Wish I'd have bought this a long time ago. I'll be using it for Fishtasy videos on Youtube.

I have the GoPro manufactured version of this. I used it for the first time clamped onto the side fairing area riding a moped In Bohol Philippines. The goose neck wasn’t long enough for me to get the camera level with the ground. My whole footage was canted. I purchased this one for far less money and it is 200% better than the GoPro one. I feel like the GoPrto has a slightly nicer/firmer clamp. . So I use this gooseneck on my GoPro clamp. But the clamp with this one I feel would be sufficient without issue.

I got this camera mount to mount a GoPro to my canoe. I have a smaller version and loved it. This one is ok but seems a little wobbly where the neck mounts to the clamp. The camera seems to move around a bit due to the looseness. Other than that, I think it will work fine since the GoPro should be able to adjust and filter out any such movements. If it continues to be an issue, I'll just find a way to alter it to keep the wobbling at bay.

Does exactly what it claims. Easy to use. Mucho satisfaction.

I mounted this to my motorcycle handlebar and it was unsteady. The wind caused it to move as well. I returned it and will try a shorter mount.

Let me start with the clamp is hardcore it smashed my plastic table haha it has a strong grip and how you can bend it in so many ways yeah it’s 100% worth buying it and to travel with it it’s just so simple

the clamp is very strong but the sections don't stick well enough for my needs- a gopro with small light attached is too much weight so it bends. If just attaching a gopro it is probably fine

It's a great little addition to our filming kit for those quick and different filming angles. I like it, it's sturdy, clamps quite good anywhere... Just not on a moving vehicle, but I didn't buy it for that.

Only got it a couple of days ago, but seems good quality, time will tell, but it’s just what I wanted and does the job.

Je n'ai pas utilisé ce matériel mais espère vivre un tournage en mer avec une GoPro commandée par une télécommande. J'ai fait un test de fixation sur une chaise que j'ai fait osciller. La GoPro ne bouge pas. Parfait.
